QUOTE(fruitie @ May 5 2012, 04:38 PM) It should be AmEx + MC. The advertisement also says that. I also thought they will give MC because the application form only mention AMEX+MC. When I receive it, I'm also surprise and I didn't think so much since this is my 1st credit card. Well, most important is the AMEX with the rebate and 5x TP. Maybe next time when I apply for other card then I will request for MC. I wonder why they prefer to provide VISA rather than MC. My brother also received AMEX+VISA.

But everytime i want to use it at fuel station or at shops, cannot use the card. But still can use the Visa instead. Funny thing is both are the same card (Maybank2card)

QUOTE(H86 @ May 6 2012, 07:01 PM) Any difference between Visa or Mastercard? No difference. Most of the merchants that accept VISA will accept MasterCard as well. Just that, MasterCard tends to have more promotions in Malaysia compared to VISA.

Anyone have encounter problem when using their AMEX? I failed two times one last month at Sengheng Alamanda when purchased my iPad2 and another one yesterday at Siang Hin Proton Center at SS15. According to AMEX CS, its maybe be due to their terminal problem or my credit card chip. However, today Im using my AMEX at petrol station and everything is working fine.
