Has anyone used the american express membership points collected from the M2card for anything yet?
This card does give 2x membership points for ever RM spent right? Like additional bonus. |

The 2nd card has the exact same benefits. 1x treat points.
It's just for use where AMEX is not accepted. Some people with other cards will just keep this 2nd card in their closet. As for the main difference, depends on which shop accepts master or visa. |

The 2nd card, meaning either Visa or MC. Compare these 2, the benefits are the same.
The 5% rebate and 5x treats only applies to the amex. We're not comparing visa to amex or MC to amex now right? Jonny asked whats the difference between the visa and MC. |

You can request either visa or MC, on the form you fill under remarks, you write your request there.
To be honest, its quite unlikely you'd use the VISA/MC much due to its 1x treat points and nothing else. 1x treat points = 0.5% cashback equivalent. So better to find another card to replace it in your wallet. OCBC Ti MC if the approval goes through is a good one. My application stuck for that. |

@fruitie, they charged via USD or MYR?
Haven't booked via agoda before. Usually I walk into a travel agent as my friend works in one and book via them lol... Added on April 14, 2012, 12:38 am QUOTE(JonnY @ Apr 14 2012, 12:34 AM) If book using agoda, will it charge the card as soon as you confirm booking? What if I cancel the booking after few days? Then its better you select the "free cancellation" option inside agoda. This post has been edited by MYstombox: Apr 14 2012, 12:38 AM |

Ah okay, which hotel in penang btw?
I am looking at hotels in penang also, but reading the reviews on agoda on sunway hotel georgetown, this time it doesn't sound too good. I stayed there in Jan 2011. That time the room was quite run down |

Took 1 week for them to send the card to the branch I applied the card.
I applied at the 7 working day branch. More convenient for me. |
