I already maxed out mine when I bought iPad 2 on 1st of April 2012.
Today walked in Swatch KLCC, held back my purchase due to the weekend rebate.
Will buy next month. laugh.gif

Fruitie where you bought your iPad? Why not wait for the new iPad?

Machines, The Gardens.
Not for me, for my sister's company. They gave it as lucky draw for their annual dinner. smile.gif
I have the first gen iPad myself, only for my magazines, browsing and some light games. So far it still serves me well, unless I itchy hand go and buy the new iPad. tongue.gif
*
Ic, just curious does iPad purchase comes with 0% EPP at Machines, The Garden? Am I correct to say you getting 5x TP & RM50 cash rebate for your purchase? Thinking to upgrade my AMEX GCC to this Maybankard2. Any idea if it can be done via call in/email?

I don't know if Machines is one of the participating outlets for Ezypayment. hmm.gif
Yes, 5xTP and RM 50 cash rebate as it is capped at RM 50 per month. smile.gif
Shouldn't be much issue. Best is you walk in to the nearest Maybank branch. smile.gif
*
Sound great, I shall wait until I got the Maybankard 2 then only proceed to buy. If email can do the job, it saves hassle to go to the branch. laugh.gif

QUOTE(cannavaro @ Apr 23 2012, 12:17 AM)
During the early days it was much easier (if you have an account with Maybank), just click on the 'I'm interested' button (or something like that) on their website and not long after that you will see your new Maybank2card accounts if you login to maybank2u. After a few days you will get the cards.  laugh.gif

This is how I got mine, thanks to the contributors here who mentioned it.. if not I would not have known this method.
*
Guess now no more.sad.gif

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Apr 23 2012, 12:35 AM)
email works too. complete the form, get it scanned and email together with the income documents.
mbbcardservices@maybank.com.my
*
If they don't call me today, probrably will apply thru email. Concern on crossing my document..:erm:

QUOTE(DM3 @ Apr 23 2012, 07:38 AM)
usually for 0% interest free /easy payments they wont give points and in this case maybe no 5% rebates also.
*
Anyone can confirm? 0% easy payment doesn't comes with 5% rebate nor 5XTP?

*
Got the cards within 40 minutes via Maybank KLCC...smile.gif

QUOTE(gerrardling @ Apr 24 2012, 09:00 AM)
AMEX does not have installment plan except for very few selected shops only. Even they do offer installment for AMEX, u cant guarantee they will processed the payment on weekend. So the answer is no
*
How about Harvey Norman?

QUOTE(rachel_xxx @ Apr 24 2012, 09:22 AM)
No for 5% rebate and yes for 5xTP as dont have to be weekend to enjoy 5xTP

If it doesn't appear in M2U, it is very likely that the cards are not linked. You have to go to the nearest branch to get them linked.
*
Really? Possible to do it via call in? :erm:

QUOTE(Dannyl @ Apr 25 2012, 07:41 AM)
I asked them when I applied, they said I have to make a call.  But when I got my card, they appeared automagically in M2U.

QUOTE(David83 @ Apr 25 2012, 07:43 AM)
Last time, I did pay a visit to the nearest branch to get my MBB2 AMEX/Visa  linked to M2U. It wasn't automatically linked even though I have other MBB CC with M2U.

On top of that, I did call to CS to ask if the linking procedures can be performed from phone. The CS said that it's not possible and requested to pay a visit to the nearest branch with my ATM card as well.

QUOTE(hye @ Apr 25 2012, 07:50 AM)
I second this statement. Same experience for myself as well.
No issue ... I appreciate the security and the hassle should not be a factor if security is in mind.
*
QUOTE(MYstombox @ Apr 25 2012, 09:45 AM)
Mine appeared 2 days before my cards reached the branch.
*
QUOTE(cannavaro @ Apr 25 2012, 10:39 AM)
I get that every once in a while.. normally during graveyard hours, like 3AM  laugh.gif
*
QUOTE(JonnY @ Apr 25 2012, 11:53 AM)
Just checked with M2U and my previous visa also tagged as "Account is not Authorised" after I called CS to block my card.

Added on April 25, 2012, 2:12 pmIf I book at agoda, there is 30% discount rate. If I book using agoda maybank promotion link, is it 30% + 6%(by maybankard)?
*
It's now appearing as linked credit card in my Maybank2U, before I call Maybank CS. Seem there is double standard on the Maybank2U and CC linkage. hmm.gif

Just curious,
Comparing Maybankard2 Master and Visa, which one is better choice? In the Maybank advertisement it show Maybankard 2 as Maybankard 2 AMEX & Mastercard.

Both look the same, they are widely accepted and most of the places accept both. I changed from MasterCard to VISA and created a lot of hassles. I didn't want another MasterCard when I already have it with CIMB Direct Access.
*
Isn't the MasterCard has more promotion compare to Visa(in Malaysia)?
Out of curiousity, how easy/hard to switch between the Visa/MasterCard? hmm.gif

Yes, I feel that MasterCard has more promotions compared to VISA. hmm.gif
Er, though I asked them to change to VISA for me, yet they still sent me the MasterCard, so they had to resend again but sent to my hometown rather than office... doh.gif I told them gazillion times to get all my cards sent to office yet they didn't follow my instruction.
So that's it, 2 weeks of ding dong for MasterCard and VISA issue.
*
Lol.. Does your MasterCard get terminated automatically after you activated your Visa?

I also thought they will give MC because the application form only mention AMEX+MC. When I receive it, I'm also surprise and I didn't think so much since this is my 1st credit card. Well, most important is the AMEX with the rebate and 5x TP. Maybe next time when I apply for other card then I will request for MC.

I wonder why they prefer to provide VISA rather than MC. My brother also received AMEX+VISA.  hmm.gif

Maybank want to increase it's Maybankard 2 Visa customer base though...:erm:

Hi all,
Do you get SMS alert when you perform any transaction via your credit card? If yes, do I need to manual activate it? hmm.gif

AFAIK, the default threshold is RM200.
Then I called them to decrease the alert threshold.

A call in will do? No need to submit form? My first usage of CC @rm250 doesn't get the SMS alert hmm.gif
