I asked them when I applied, they said I have to make a call. But when I got my card, they appeared automagically in M2U.

Last time, I did pay a visit to the nearest branch to get my MBB2 AMEX/Visa linked to M2U. It wasn't automatically linked even though I have other MBB CC with M2U.

On top of that, I did call to CS to ask if the linking procedures can be performed from phone. The CS said that it's not possible and requested to pay a visit to the nearest branch with my ATM card as well.

I second this statement. Same experience for myself as well.
No issue ... I appreciate the security and the hassle should not be a factor if security is in mind.

Mine appeared 2 days before my cards reached the branch.

I get that every once in a while.. normally during graveyard hours, like 3AM

Just checked with M2U and my previous visa also tagged as "Account is not Authorised" after I called CS to block my card.

Added on April 25, 2012, 2:12 pmIf I book at agoda, there is 30% discount rate. If I book using agoda maybank promotion link, is it 30% + 6%(by maybankard)?

Agoda is 30% discount from the hotel itself.

It's now appearing as linked credit card in my Maybank2U, before I call Maybank CS. Seem there is double standard on the Maybank2U and CC linkage.

anyone notice if you sign up from 1 april to 30 june u get free starbuck voucher ? damn i already got the card.. lol

oh btw I called up maybank to upgrade to plat .. but they said I can only request upgrade after a year not 6 month or to max my credit limit and pay in full for a few times lol.

I never received anything.. -.-'

My fault.. its for American Express Credit/charge card.. not MMB2

any way to check my application status? i've applied but i think the branch only send out my application few days ago.. normally need wait how long? i am from sarawak btw..

took me 4 working days to have the card shown up on M2U.
Took 2 days for HQ to send card to me.
Collected after 7th working day.

JB, i went to a 7 day branch on a sunday to submit my application.
Collected the card on a pub holiday as well.

I'm from sarawak. I call the CS and get fast approved. 3rd day after I submit all the requirement document to the executive, she called me said my application approved. 4th day (Fri) receive sms said my application approved and Tues got a package from poslaju but I'm not at home that time so Wed I go poslaju office take. Because 2nd day after I email her my document is public holiday so it's about 5 working days I receive the card.
