What's the difference between visa and mastercard? At last, I just got approved by maybank after 8 mths trying to get 2card.

Yeah, I asked about the difference between visa and MC. As what I see, MBB give MC for platinum and visa for gold (hope I'm correct). I remember I read somewhere that MC got more offer than visa right?

When I fill in the M2C form it only got platinum or gold. That's why cannot choose MC or visa. I think that 1 depend on MBB. I only can get gold version though.

Maybe u can try call their call centre to apply. I apply thru bank and all application failed. Then this time I call to their call centre and the executive follow your application will help you in all ways to get you approve as in my case and there I got approved in 2 days time after my document they required is complete.

My case is I cun cun can apply gold only. The call center I means is the HQ at 1300 88 6688. Press the number to talk to executive or something and then credit card. I forgot already the actual number to press.

Call not to check status. Call to apply new credit card. I forgot what number to press already. She will call you back to ask for your details and then ask you for your document whether by fax or email if you are eligible.

If book using agoda, will it charge the card as soon as you confirm booking? What if I cancel the booking after few days?

Me too. Received calls that my application being approved last Thursday but she said the card can be collected within 2 weeks.

I think the highlighted as above already means RM50 GST for AMEX is waived or did you pay for it?

The MBB is really efficient. Approved last Thursday and today can receive the M2C already but too bad my housemate don't know my full name so he didn't dare to sign the package. Got the notes from poslaju with "K" stated there which stand for kad kredit. Tomorrow will go poslaju to get the package.

Did you receive call or sms said that your application had been approved? I received the call last thursday and sms on last friday then the card reach my house on last tuesday. It's fast actually unless your application haven't approve.

Does M2C offer the 0% Easy Payment Plan?

Well, my brother get a note with celcom package and swipe with visa platinum. Then call to MBB and ask convert to installment but they said they can't do that and don't provide that.

I remember few years ago ( > 5 yrs) my brother use card swipe to buy a digital camera but need to call and ask for 0%EPP.

As long as your payslip stated RM2.5k and epf statement same as epf deduction on your payslip then can apply liaw. I tried few times to apply last year by MBB branch in my area and total fail.

Then last week I straight call MBB call center and they appoint 1 agent for my application. That agent very nice and help me with the application and I success within 2 days. Just received my card 3 days ago. My payslip is printed version and she said hard to apply unless using carbonize payslip. Then she ask me for epf statement and offer letter.

Others bank 0% EPP also depends on merchant?

Damnit.. just now receive a call from 0102209671. Claimed to be from MBB. Anyone received the call from same number? She said everyone will receive this kind of service card for credit card holder. And the registration fee is RM499. WTF.

I'm so stupid to provide the visa details... Had called MBB and she help me block my visa card from any use and will send me a new visa card.

I'm not sure but some sort of service card and free insurance coverage for 1 year by RHB. After I heard RHB i feel something not right but before that she already ask for visa details to confirm. After she said RHB only she said there will be a registration fees of RM499. This card she said can be use like some sort of cash card or debit card.

Just received my cards last week and today come this call. My lesson of the month.

She keep calling then tell me this package everyone will have it. Maybe I'm new so she tried to scam me. I had block the visa and she keep calling say my visa is not valid.

I say i don't want and she say cannot don't want this package. But this chick maybe is indian... not my vege... name Tasha

BTW this package she said is kemudahan service card from making you spending overlimit.

MBB won't sms or call when you swipe your card?

Same as me. I failed for 3 or 4 times applying through maybank branch and email to them. The last application I call their CS and they appoint 1 agent to me and successful.

Maybe you can try call their CS or I can give you the executive contact that help me with the application.

Just checked with M2U and my previous visa also tagged as "Account is not Authorised" after I called CS to block my card.

I'm from sarawak. I call the CS and get fast approved. 3rd day after I submit all the requirement document to the executive, she called me said my application approved. 4th day (Fri) receive sms said my application approved and Tues got a package from poslaju but I'm not at home that time so Wed I go poslaju office take. Because 2nd day after I email her my document is public holiday so it's about 5 working days I receive the card.
