It is still better than 18% p.a. It is really up to you to decide ... if you found something better then you may pursue it.
Please note that once you take Citibank BT ... you might as well keep the card in the safe until you clear your BT.

Learn from your mistakes - asking for quick rescue will not help you much in life.. That's the best advise we can give you.

Yes. that's what I'm planning to do. It purely for BT and I might keep the card in my lock. heh.

So, assume my debt float between 5k - 6k (keep using) in debt and my minimum payment is 250. If I pay promptly every month 500 (my debt still floating cause I'm using it), do I still fall i 13.5 or 17.5? I never miss my payment (Rm500) before due date.

I dont think I quite understand table above icon_question.gif

Lower retail interest for prompt repayment is simply defined as minimum payment received on or before due date. If you are new, you have no record and are placed in the highest tier. Upon reaching the first anniversary, your tier is adjusted based on your payment pattern in the preceding 12 months.

Don't know how much the annual fee but HLB do waive my annual fee for years and in the last 3 years they auto waived it when I wanted to cancel 3 years back.

Hi, would like to get an advise about the offer

SCB CC - outstanding 3k, prompt payment every month (about rm500+-)and no problem every month.

now they offer cash solution.. i suggest 3k to cover the outstanding and the interest is 9.8%, repayment 1 year, rm270+- monthly. still i need to pay rm270- and auto debit about rm300.. so total is 500+

should i get it ??? is it worth? or remain 18% interest?

the 9.8% upfront one time? if yes -
since you can repay RM500/month why don't you use excel and calculate the interest and determine which is "cheaper".

I applied for a Platinum MC with CIMB but got rejected. blink.gif

Currently working in Australia, family in M'sia. Annual income >RM150k. I told them about my situation before applying and they said overseas income is OK. I submitted all requested documentation including payslips and confirmation letter to them, but when I called up to check on status the lady just said 'unsuccessful' and wouldn't give me any reason. She just said wait 6 months and apply again. rolleyes.gif

dear all, my friend has recently approached the maybank CC centre in 1U, and inquired regarding obtaining a credit card without pay slip... the support there claimed that CC can be applied as long as there is strong financial funding in your FD/savings (ranging from 20k-70k)... anyone have got any idea about it?
