depends. most hdb parking use coupons but there are some who use gantry. you need cash card/auto pass for gantry parking.

? EM guys don't have those company discount card? 18% or more?

I was mainly using dividend card for petrol, now looking at how and which card to apply for JB petrol. Any idea?

I have sub card and I keep the total limit less tha 2x salary just to make sure I don't over spend. I can't brain the idea of spending more than 1 month salary on daily expenses and being charge 20+%  interest.

The only paper work involved are:
- payable check to me.
- a service job report copy to client and myself, signed by both parties. (it also serves as payment receipt)

@extremepower
What if I received freelance job opportunity every 2 weeks? xD I've already being offered another project by the same client with target date in late May/early June.

legally...u cannot have a side income (work) with another company while on EP
practically...a lot of ppl does that.
like the saying goes...you are good until you get caught.

personally, the one which you have already got payment, i would advise against filing for tax.
i mean, it is kinda like declaring you have a side job which should be illegal right?

you have to decide on the risk yourself for future freelance jobs
others can say whatever they want (including my opinion)...but if anything happens (touch wood), where would those ppl (including me) be?
definitely not with you defending what was said last time.
the black and white u signed can be used against u if the other party decides to screw u.

You only pump in JB right? Citi Dividen and Maybank also 5%.

What other station card is the best to max out the discount? Bonus link, Esso Card etc.

I had bad experience using CC for petrol in MY. once I pump at ulu palces, the line have some problem and the sales girl try for a while before it finally work. End of the month, my statement showed 3x transaction for same amount of petrol within a few minutes apart. I called the Maybank SG and they ask me to settle it with the station owner directly (3 hours drive away), no extra help from them. Now I seldom use that CC.
