hi,
I new owner of the CFE EB. only clock 700kms so far. Compared with Alza, i feel that the engine and CVT noises are much significantly higher than Alza, but Alza road noises penetrated into the cabin more. During pickup or slow-down (decelerating), the engine and CVT noises are disturbing.

Curious if anyone know any DIY methods to kill off these noises?

Hi all EB owner,

I'm in the market looking for MPV for family. I've tested bold and to be honest, I really like it. I've owned wira and currently, a waja CPS.

Just want to know, How is u guys bold (CFE type) performing ? Do you guys really like it ? Any regret ?

I've read through the thread and some online forum...seems like quite a number of prob...like oil leak, engine dead while stopping, loud engine noise, weird engine noise...

My waja CPS (manual) is great...so far performing very well and quite powerful, no regrets getting it.

So guys, share ur short experience with bold.

Thanks.

My CFE bold, good power, comfort in ride n handling
Rear seats can fold down and can even baring on top of it because flat, not all mpv can do this tongue.gif
Handful when balik kampung but not enough room to sleep
Aircond really cold, even set to low

Problems of my 2 weeks bold
- Engine died suddenly (solved by tightening the battery connector)

Hey guys, any insider info whether the next Exora Bold (facelift, minorchange, etc) will eventually be fitted with either a 1.8 or 2.0 MIVEC engine found in the Inspira?

If so, I can't wait to place a booking.

I asked because a few pages back in this thread, this was the rumour.

Why would I want the mitsu engine? Because I like it.

once they set the car when they launch the car to use campro..all the way they will use it
they wouldn't change
a "facelift" is suppose to be making customer to be more interested in the car while maintaining the cost
if now they suddenly want to put mivec into it, they would be pouring more money into development in putting mivec into exora...switching engine isn't just switching, theres alot of part related needed to be change and somemore tested for problems
it would take years and more money....for a "facelift"...heck no...no company in this world would do that
the next "exora replacement"...maybe...current exora FL....HELL NO

what prob would that be?
sometime the solution is VERY VERY simple but SC can't solve it becuz they're not trained to fix that
thats why they're scratching their head
