actually this is among the reason i'm scared of buying proton. my 7 years old myi have no problem whatsoever. my cousin who had his saga blm for only 3 month, suddenly his car cannot start (luckily he's at home that time) and need to be towed. turns out its just something simple (according to the proton SC, but I forgot what it is)..

My family own proton cars for more than 15 years. My family got iswara, 3 wira, 2 waja CPS, new saga....so far no problem. We travel from kelantan to Penang, from penang to KL, Johor...just fine. Just stick to the service duration and manual. And don't pandai-pandai go and tune this, that...modify this that...

Hi all EB owner,

I'm in the market looking for MPV for family. I've tested bold and to be honest, I really like it. I've owned wira and currently, a waja CPS.

Just want to know, How is u guys bold (CFE type) performing ? Do you guys really like it ? Any regret ?

I've read through the thread and some online forum...seems like quite a number of prob...like oil leak, engine dead while stopping, loud engine noise, weird engine noise...

My waja CPS (manual) is great...so far performing very well and quite powerful, no regrets getting it.

So guys, share ur short experience with bold.

Thanks.

Me too....either exora/livina/innova....??

Livina 1.8 looks good, but really cramp...

Hopefully there will be a facelift or special edition (like Merdeka edition which usually proton did) for Bold and hopefully current prob solved . My heart goes to exora...spacious, good power...acceptable interior and cheaper too.
