2.) aircond - when reverse the air will become hot
3.) OC Valve - your car will be underpower even when u press the acc pedal
4.) loose hose clip
5.) overheat engine - as for final result, need to change engine head.. will take more than 1 week.. lucky got
warranty.. if not just say bye bye for you rm4k..just got a savy for a replacement car from proton..hmmm........

these problem is not simple.. some of them they also dunno how to fix it..if u don't belive me, go try and call proton service center.. or go to exora forum.. topik terhangat..

sometime driving fast, rpm reach 3-4k, around 120-140kmh. there is some smelly come out from aircond. why will this happend?

I'm planning to purchase Exora Bold CFE.. would like to get your sincere comment about that MPV? Any problem so far? Worth to buy it or not? What's the reliability of the 1st Proton CFE engine??

OC -Kalau tak silap Oil Control / Change Valve.. Bukan sbb tayar or rim.. Fuel consumption (FC) pun agak tinggi berbanding biasa..hmmm ... Selalu bila kita tekan minyak turbo akan on, akan terasa pickup dan kelajuan bertambah.. Ni RPM dah naik tapi kelajuan kereta lambat..

it will be fixed based on cust feddback-just the costs will be major factor--i hv faith in that,just the fix will be in next batch

& not only prtn got this issues,even merc got

just read some awesome facts about merc e-class W211(2nd latest) which got lots of errors & issues during its first launch in 2003 & the 2nd variant of the same model was just launched at 2008 here(sharp front bumper with diff led lamp)

the 2nd variant of merc W211 supposedly to correct more 2000 "prblematic" items in the old variant

Hopefully your EB will be okay as soon as possible
So far my EB dont have that problem. yet.

3 weeks of owning EB

Pros :
Good damn pickup
FC like a 1.8 but with 2.0 power
It is so stable during highspeed drive and wind noise is acceptable at 150km/h
Spacious interior and doesnt look cheap
Aircon for every row! ( located at the side for safety)
Good stopping distance
"Garang" looks
Reminds the driver if the seat belt is not fasten and auto lock after 20km/h ( this is useful for me at least)
10 000km service interval
60 000km for cvt oil change
so far no rattling sound

Cons :
One way valve problem (the first batch mostly have this problem, mine still okay)
Aircon sumtime give funny funny smell ( i have this problem, but some other dont have)
Oil control valve ( very few owner have this problem, SC has rectify and change them in less than hour. )
Jerk like manual kancil at low speed during deceleration ( <10km/h ) * it just cvt behavior but it may annoy the owner
Reverse camera not functioning after hit big pothole ( bring to SC and they will tighten the connection)

Overall it is a worth MPV to buy under RM100k
Go test drive and decide

I dont know the detail but you can listen the sound when they start the engine. Mostly occur for the first badge EB
If got this problem then u will have send to SC and wait for a week the most for them to fix it

My car dont have that sound wor..... your one really got weird sound.... mine I only beh tahan the radiator fan and very rarely it suddenly engine die....

Mine dont gave that problem lah those video taken from other EB user

I agree the fan too loud, but when I close the door turn on radio no more fan sound
Enginr died once btw, fixed it alrd

The engine died is what issue ? the engineer got tell?

Most/all of the cases just need to tigthen all the battery terminal and it solve

Because the dealer forget to tight it back when deliver to customer, the reason why they loose it at first place cos want to prevent the battery discharge itself when in store

For below Rm100k i personally think EB beat all the mpv ( alza, avanza, innova, chery eastar )
How reliable I dont know, hopefully it can lasts like my 2004 waja...no issues at all

well, my wife owns an alza, while i just got the latest EB. I would say both have their strengths and weaknesses.

I picked EB mainly on the cabin space offered. The noise insulation has improved a lot from a proton car standpoint, but still a lot of rooms to improved. EB engine+GB+aircond noise is much more higher than Alza, while alza high tire noise level. Comfort wise, i like Alza on the seat offered. EB is more a true 7-seater than Alza. With a car seat in Alza, i see it as a 4-seater family sedan, as i need the 3rd 2 seats for stroller+"utility bags, and 2nd row with the car seat occupying 1.25 seat, it fits another person comfortably but not 2.

FC wise, needless to say more. My EB so far only clocks 1.3kms, ~14L/100km for 80% city drive. my wife alza on 16kms, and average 8.5L/100km.

Just my own feeling....

lol.... i didn't mean alza not good... just that EB is more fun to drive....

wah so high FC? mine is 11l/100km but mix driving lah...

Mine 12/....maybe i love to floor the pedal....lol
