hi all

confirmed getting the eb cfe. went to the showroom, my wife and kids like it a lot. hehe

btw, the sales guy say silver can get around 2 weeks. what's your experience on delivery?
*
i order elegance brown colour...got it after 5 week...as i know the waiting list for EB now are about 2 month for current order
as the engine supply problem because of preve lauching. if your SA promise you 2 week... i do think so hahaha blink.gif

loan take about 3 days can approve...then wait for proton to allocate the car...if the car are ready ask you SA for engine
and chasis no...confirm it by calling i care. then wait for logistic for delivery to SA around 2-3 days or maybe for week.

thats my experience...hope help you... biggrin.gif

i had use EB for 1 month. so far so good. the fuel ok laa..a bit high before reach 1k mileage. after service it become better. just minor problem...front seat it like rocking a bit. you will notice it when you brake. my wife already complaint...haha need to go service centre for this problem. on the way valve...so far i notice there soft sound coming during cold start...but not a problem as i look into youtube...the sound a more rough and scary.
my advice...I enjoy driving EB...lot of space and powerful engine...but before buying this mpv...you should understand the car system first before get use of it. read the manual haha...

agree. owners shud make some effort to understand the car to avoid unnecessary problems & complaints in the future.

btw bro, what do u mean by 'rocking a bit'?
is it making kiok-kiok sound, or u can feel the seat slightly moving?
if the later, have u make sure the seat is 'locked' after u adjust it? try push the seat from behind until hear the lock sound

mine is around 3 weeks, solid white..
u made the rite decision bro. prior i was having difficulties of satisfying everybody in the family, choosing between mazda5, stream & rondo. thanked god eb came around. my kids love the space & dvd, wifey loves the leather (easy to clean) & extra aircond, me of course - the power, handling & extra features. now everybody's happy. eb truly is a family car.

u can feel the back side is moving...not the bottom side. it look like have some clearence...when u brake can feel it moving a bit...
i can live with it... sad.gif but i want proton to improve...maybe vendor problem. vmad.gif haha

yes bro my wife also love the space & dvd, leather seat (easy to clean) & extra aircond. we can also can find
a lot of proton SC not like other brand that limited...but off course we need to choose carefully proton SC.

just ask the mechanic...problem that you know the answer...then you can see the mechanic knowledge level smile.gif

my car is 3 months in 2 weeks time. already 9k haiya.. need to service this week i think :| (in 3 months i purposely find reason for myself going for trips to KL and right now in Kedah hehehe)

all i can say is, eb is a pleasure to drive.. 110 on highway hard to maintain.. more like 120 and above.. hehe although i limit myself to 140 .. family first

today test the balik pulau roads, handling superb! although i got a scare during some long downward drive, the engine braking activated and could see the rpm rise to 3k while feeling the car is slowing down.

the engine braking is always engaged whenever the car goes on a downhil gradient road. The steeper the road, the stronger the engine braking and also, if you slot it into S, the engine braking is a bit "neck snapping" too. rclxub.gif

now i know first hand. because before this when going through karak and also grik.. never did experience that type of engine braking... (very strong) probably because the turns are tighter and u play with the brake more.. somebody told me engine braking is activated when it detects the gradient plus u use the brake.. u dont use then it will not activate ..

Don't understand this engine braking

Does it mean it will slow down the car without having press brake?
