2. the kraa, kraa, kraa sound happened when hitting a pothole or going over a sharp speed bump. (SC tightened "something" on the suspension. so far, no more sound but still has to be mindful of potholes n bumps.)

d. SC reminded me to go back for service on the next 5000km. (btw, can someone enlighten whether the semi syn oil, mentioned above, can last for 5000km or 10,000km)

5. still monitoring the fc...am driving abt 50km daily betw home n offic...(city driving consume more..)

6. the front windscreen view is wide. (did EB owners notice that u cant see the front bonnet of the MPV no matter how high u climb from the seat to the dashoard)

7. the rear mirror wt the camera is comfortable n clear.

*
2. ya, my back suspension got some weird sound too when i ride in my car. will check it next service.

d. yup, mine also nd to go back service after 5000km even using 5w-30 semi-sync.

5. my fc for city driving is high. 12L/100KM can refer here.

6. ya, im 175cm tall. with highest seat also cant c the bonnet.

7. cannot view at night time especially theres no light area. wanna replace the reverse light with spot light. lol.

i check my service booklet... space for chop is only 1, 10, 20 and so on.. i guess he's right???

nak tumpang ke Kirie.. next time we stop by your place smile.gif

MR_alien: yep I'm gonna go and change it by 5k... probably the SA was confused because the service booklet separates between Normal Service (10k) and Severe Usage Service (5k interval) ... so he just mention based on the booklet because i point out that the computer print out says next service is due 6k...

my understanding is if even if we want to opt for 10k interval change.. it is better that we follow 1, 5 and 10k first so that the engine is cleaner.. smile.gif

The CVT howling sound is so loud when start to move from standstill. Once up to over 60km/hr, less so. Is that common on all Bold or just some?

advisable to service at proton due to 3 main things in the new CFE which are the engine, the turbo and the cvt... if broken.... cry!.. me... I bought Exora Bold CPS... so only wory about the engine and auto tranny only... but the CPS engine is proven long lasting (my gen2 cps already 135k km)

hi guys.... went for test drive not too long ago, fairly impressed!

want to ask u guys 2 things...

1) anyone did anything/knows any way to reduce the noise in cabin, especially from the engine hum?
btw would've been great if proton actually did something about this, or fixed it before the launch. wishful thinking, i know, for that price...... FL perhaps? tongue.gif

2)

yeah, it is slightly harder to reverse at night especially when its totally dark. because you cant see the rearview mirror, as the glare from the integrated lcd screen would just 'blind' you. wished they included a bit of night vision camera as well... a small led that throws out infra red, like the cctv cameras we have now days...
but apart from that, i have no complaints.

Hi...some users in other forum recommend the use of Oil Catch Tank as they found out a lot of oil escape into the Turbo module. If this oil get harden in the long run, this will harm the turbo module.

If this true? Is it necessary? if we install it, will it void the warranty?
