any news on when we getting delivery for the car ?
i've paid booking fee, i've got a loan, but apparently cant proceed until the car is at the dealer , because the loan agreement  needs the vehicle chassis number.
did your SA update you on delivery of the car? i asked proton on fb and they said its 2 months.

just want to check what is the best offer can get?

i booked mine as well... but not much $$ rebate or free gift.

Lotus is a selfish company,
where they need help proton to built the engine 1.6l or 1.8l engine for proton...

Normally we saw on the satria or persona at rear bonnet and pasted the handering by lotus logo.

That's just a trusted on proton, cause that model of car have ask lotus company to help up for tested only.

If the lotus can help up for proton and product the best 1.6cc and the engine technology just modify on lotus, then the proton won't facing up the Campro engine on bad FC and underpower performance.

That is what I mean.

the best EO for turbo is any brand as long the fluid ratio 10/30 , 10/40 , 5/40 .. but just to remmember ... u cannot use the oil more than 7k.. as the turbine is hotter than the engine.. and the oil cannot use like normal car or older exora.. so if u love ur engine ..use goodEO ..for example symtium 800 just use for 5.5k... if u want better EO ..u can use Lucas.. LiquiMoly .. amsoil... even volvo recommended amsoil for every turbine engine they produce ..

In the manual it stated "10w-30 and above", so 10w30, 10w40, 10w50, all can use. Just dont use anything lower than -30 or else your warranty will void.

IMO, if you didn't rev your car much and not a track person, semi syn is sufficient. At your early stage of ownership, I recommend you to just stick back to semi since you'll be changing oil every 5,000km.

i know its abit too early to ask, but any problems, major or minor so far with the exora bold?

Mine ok..... not ok is the SC only...

a normal semi syn can last 5,000km and good ones can be stretched to 7,000km. Anything beyond that is highly not recommended. I've seen people stretching their full syn for 20k km and I was like WTF?

my gawd. RM92 for 370km only? that is super costly, for a 1.6L car. moreover majority of your travel is in highway.

i wonder the CPS FC will be better without turbo?

My friend nissan livina 1.8L, for RM80, can go at least 450km onwards.

Generally speaking, a turbo charged engine is SUPPOSED to be using about 5% more fuel than a non-turbo version of the same engine. In exchange for that extra 5% fuel consumption, you can look forward to getting about 20% more power.

So in this case, the turbo charged 1.6 liter engine can look forward to performance similar to a 1.92 liter engine but uses less fuel than a normal aspirated 1.92 engine. A good deal.

wow,u r driving 2-3k rpm on town :-), so fast meh. Actually, u r forcing the engine to go beyond 120kmh on town. Need to learn how to adapt cvt,then ull get better fc, eventhough it is normal to get high fc for campro based engine before 5k service.

Try to drive below 2k rpm in town coz it is enough to propel the mpv. 2k rpm is already more than 90kmh. Punch cvt has economy mode which activate when u driving engine rpm at speed below 80kmh, meaning below 2k rpm(sat mode dont have economy mode,so avoid sat). Add, turbine spooling at 2k rpm causing the af ratio change is bigger due to more air,need more fuel to burn for complete combustion.
Just depend on intake vvt when driving around town which advancing below 2k rpm, which already good enough for town driving. Remember,@1.5k rpm, cfe produce more torque than cps@4.5krpm, so,no need to worry. Only go region beyond 2k rpm when needed.

Learn to press the pedal gradually. Let the rpm rise gradually, but of course,hard to resist beyond 2k rpm when driving even in town.

Hi, I notice Exora Bold CVT gearbox give out a noise 'un.un..un...' when we lift our right foot from the accelerator pedal(slow down). Usually during low speed(10 ~ 30km/h).
Is this normal ?

i hear a faint "eeee--grrrrrr" sound for about a second everytime i hit a pothole. is this normal?

2. the kraa,kraa,kraa sound happened when hitting a pothole or going over a sharp speed bump. (SC tightened "something" on the suspension. so far, no more sound but still has to be mindful of potholes n bumps.)

d. SC reminded me to go back for service on the next 5000km. (btw, can someone enlighten whether the semi syn oil, mentioned above, can last for 5000km or 10,000km)

5. still monitoring the fc...am driving abt 50km daily betw home n offic...(city driving consume more..)

6. the front windscreen view is wide. (did EB owners notice that u cant see the front bonnet of the MPV no matter how high u climb from the seat to the dashoard)

7. the rear mirror wt the camera is comfortable n clear.
