SGD1k...very hard to sell as someone needs to come with RM2.4k++ and I doubt that guy will be happy with a SGD1k note either. Imagine go food court or take cab pay with SGD1k, |

QUOTE(jhcj @ Dec 30 2011, 11:37 AM) are you by any chance living in the lower floors? I've noticed that if you do, the signal reception tends to be weaker compared to those living on the higher floors. You must meant the one just outside MRT station, beside the staircase. There are always a lot of people queuing there, but I dont think the rate is THAT good. Imagine the time, effort that you put in just to save a few SGD, not to mention the trip to go down chinatown.. It's not really a smart move unless you're exchanging 100M SGD |

QUOTE(Walaoeh! @ Dec 30 2011, 01:15 PM) just bring SGD1k notes there, easier to bring and easier to count... Business yeah, but I dun think they will be willing to give you better rates even if the amout is big.who care money changer prefer which one, unless they dun wan to do business lah... i always change with SGD1k notes... Cause 1k hard to sell back le. They need to change it to smaller notes (go sg bank?) which they might consider troublesome. Who cares? apparently i do, if the rate is not going to be better even when i am exchanging a large amt. PS: As I said, that is my opinion. Real life may differ. Added on December 30, 2011, 3:11 pm QUOTE(seantang @ Dec 29 2011, 04:07 PM) I'm actually quite pro-NS for kids,.. especially for ethnic-Chinese kids in this region. There is absolutely no harm in more Chinese kids learning how to shoot and kill non-Chinese kids. They will need to do it, sooner or later... or else all sorts of May13 and May,1998 will occur and they will be told it's their fault for not following the "social contract". why say like that?Added on December 30, 2011, 3:13 pm QUOTE(seantang @ Dec 29 2011, 10:40 PM) Not a lick of use in a racial riot. why again? What chinese need is access to guns and the training to use them to kill. And the fact that chinese have that weapon access and training will be a potent deterrent factor to any non-chinese who are thinking about screwing with the chinese again. QUOTE(Materazzi) And every year got people die coz of NS. What do you feel if that happened to your son? just waste of life Every year how many?
