Will there be any taxis available to go to the city area after passing through the Sg and MY custom check in Woodland CIQ? As I have scheduled for an interview at 830am in the city..I m afraid that I might not be able to reach on time if I were to travel by MRT or bus....thankss

there is a taxi stand just as you come out from the CIQ building.

Just wondering.. do you guys drive Msia or spore registered car? with the sky rocketing COE, it seems much cheaper to maintain a msian car now if you're not PR.
*
if you stay in JB, then i think it's worth considering now that the COE is hitting high compares to maybe 4 years back.

Just tasted Kong Kee famous KL Hokkien met @ Geylang yesterday. My 'virgin' trip there.

Taste & texture is comparable to KL, it was really that good ! Reasonable price (by Sg standard) i would say. SGD5/SGD10/SGD15 . The only downside is the 'samba belacan' not like those we eat in KL.

Hey, I have just received an invitation of interview at singapore.
The venue of interview is located at mcdonalds.
I felt that it is very weird.
Did anyone tried before?
Should I go?
Thank for everyone's advice.
*
this is new. an 'open concept' interview maybe ? I think they always do that in US for high position like CEO/COO/CFO ....

Anyway, something interesting about the blog:
Anyone of you here get any pro-rated AWS when you leave a company before 31st Dec?
Most of the employment contract states that one must work until the last day of the year in order to be entitled of full amount AWS.
*
my Co give pro-rated AWS if you leave early, bonus also pro-rated rclxms.gif

(CNN) -- New Zealand is perceived as the least corrupt nation on earth, and Somalia and North Korea are seen as the most corrupt, a German watchdog organization said in a report released this week.
The United States ranked 24th least corrupt on a "corruption perceptions index," the fourth-highest in the Western Hemisphere. Canada ranked 10th, the Bahamas is 21st and Chile is 22nd.
Overall, the top spots are occupied mostly by European countries, with the exception of New Zealand, Singapore at No. 5 and Australia, which is tied for eighth with Switzerland. Other nations with top rankings are Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway and the Netherlands.
In addition to Somalia and North Korea, which are tied for last at No. 182, the bottom of the list includes Myanmar, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Sudan, Iraq, Haiti and Venezuela.
