The MRT fare also will increase as MRT also run on petrol

Still cheaper than having to own, maintain a car + need to pump fuel and toll. MRT cannot come sooner.

Highrise in redzone and over supply but keep safe atleast with MRT.

Also depend future launch Shopping Mall beside Tower D. Most dislike are You Festival"WALK" maybe same concept like Setia"WALK" which is bad respond that time.

I hope PJD change a name instead of "WALK" biggrin.gif

potential investment or bad investment. Depends on how you all think.

A shoes manager go to Africa and notice no one wears shoes there, he says it is a bad investment for shoes. Another shoes manager goes to Africa and notice the same, he says there is a huge market for shoes as no one wears shoes over there... That's all for the bullshit.

The Star today just reported that property prices is expected to cost 10% more following the fuel price increase and crackdown on foreign workers.

Found this old The Star article which i think is worth reposting.

http://www.thestar.com.my/story.aspx?file=...88&sec=metrobiz

“Besides, we are investing RM30mil to upgrade roads and the surrounding area’s infrastructure for better connectivity and quality of life. Since it is located in an old township, the areas need to be upgraded.

“Roads will be widened and a flyover will be built, connecting it directly to the highway.“The wet market will also be upgraded to a two-storey complex complete with a multi-purpose hall,” he said

That's indeed a large commitment from PJD to spruce up the surrounding area. At least they acknowledged the neighbourhood is old and is doing something about it. I am glad they plan to upgrade the existing market which is a concern among some of the forumers here.

I am sure the taikor taikor here already knew about this new development opposite Leisure Mall called EkoCheras. This would be another MRT property in Cheras (located two stops away from Youcity/Tmn suntex) and is selling like hot cakes now. Take a look via the link below:

Any thoughts on this with regards to Youcity?

Looking at so many good projects launched in surroudning Cheras, believe that it will turn Cheras to a better planned township and more happening area, which will then benefiting those invested in Cheras property.

Looking at this positively, i am happy to see more modern development coming into Cheras which has a reputation of being a matured and old neighbourhood. Perhaps Cheras will slowly shed its erm...'stigma' and turn into a more glamorous location for investors hehe cool2.gif

Yes, Cheras need more highrise property to convert more lifestyle in future instead of 30 years old of landed here. Convertion of life & modernity must more new modern of building & 5 star living. Otherwise we have a gap with young generation which is locate far away from KL soon.
