Lucas played the match last night and put in good display..here's a quote from goal.com

"Rating 8.0 = Acted like the senior figure in the middle of the park and used the ball intelligently, if not excitingly, all evening."

Yup Hendo was allowed to return early. Only Shelvey played last nite I think. Is Carrol selected for tonite's game? Hopefully he gets some playing time.

i dun understand why FiFa cannot leave the league alone and wanted to hav international break where players tends to get injured. Are their planners tat stupid tat they cannot plan the International matches in such a way not to interfere with the Domestic games?
During the off season, FiFa should held all their Internationl matches, be it qualifying of friendly.
Now we hav a few of our players nursing the unwanted injuries mad.gif

what off season?
PL season ends in may.
euro 2012 starts first week of june.

u seriously dont expect national teams to play 7 qualifying matches in the space of 1 month?
now that would get players injured from over playing.

It's unavoidable. For one, players will have zero breaks in a yr like madmoz has just pointed out. Secondly, different continents/countries schedule their leagues at different times. Also, if you are manager of an international side, you'd want your chargers to get together periodically to train and so you can work on tactics.

I get what you mean about Bellamy, but Kuyt isn't a killer.
We don't have young, speedy finishers like Welbeck at the moment.

Well, it is my personal opinion that hamann is the complete dm for me, of course he still have his weakness~ lack of pace, energy, flair etc, but if u consider his age, his competitiveness is unbelieavable...he may not provide the final killer pass, or 40 meters cross field pass, but, his crosses r good enough, n even better than masch n Lucas, so far...let not forget he heads better than masch, and also he can get the ball out from danger better after defenders head out from 18 yards..again in my humble opinion, hamann n Alonso r almost like for like, but I haven't see this in Lucas...yet. Let's hope he can develop into 1 soon

I believe Alonso was one of Liverpool's best passers of the past decade. I really miss his playing. I remember one guy won about 60,000 pounds or something after he bet that Alonso would score twice from behind the halfway mark in the season.

Carra's top five transfers:

Sami Hypia
Gary Mac
Fowler Returning
Luis Suarez (he wouldn't swap him for anyone in the league)
And top of his list Torres to Chelsea

copied from other people.an interview from carra with liverpool fc tv regarding his best transfers.

And the top one is the transfer of 'TORRES TO CHELSEA' rclxms.gif

Just reread all those articles on Lucas...Things do change unexpectedly eh?

Kuyt and Lucas from unwanted to integral part of team.

Torres from hero to zero.

At the end of the day, anything can happen....
