Latest news has it that Bellamy prefer Spurs over us?

Dont think so, unless money talk...Bellamy is a liverpool fan! AS a back-up player, I am fine, but still wish Ngog will stay and given more chance to develop, always thot that Ngog is just a few improvement away from becoming a threat to defense

I tot charlie adam is superb, i rate him higher than alonso...notice alonso is so-so with short passing in the final third of the pitch, but this charlie here is more composed, and the fact that he can dribble into space for a shot on goal, makes him more threatening than alonso...still adam need to show consistency to be confirmed as world class

J. Henderson...altho not gerard when he broke into liverpool squad...but feel that he can develop into a complete midfielder in the mould of gerard, remember that he finished with his left foot for the goal..

Downing, must live with the huge price tag...but so far, a vry potent attacking threat...certainly this year we have 2-3 more penetrative attackers than last year!! During Roy H, we treat J Cole as savior, meirelles was unknown at the time and wasnt much of a threat, altho he weight in with goals later part of the season...but now we easily have Downing, Adam, Henderson, gerard soon to be back...and also wing backs look great with enrique and gln johnson marauding the flanks,,,attacking wise, i personally think we are well equipped this season

Must agree with the commentator, if we can get Andy Carrol to blend into the system, liverpool would be unplayable..i am guessing that becos we play with interchangeable system, you can see Kuyt, in left, right and centre..suarez upfront, on the flank and dropping deep to collect the ball, c.adam working the flank ...just feel that the giant Carrol will take a bit of time to work his way into the system..hope that KD can get carrol sorted soonest, becos he is one hell of a centreforward..still remember we play newcastle against him, we have 2-3 players marking him but still he scored!!

I was so impressed with skrtel playing right back whether defensively or attack wise that i voted him our MOTM on lfc site biggrin.gif

Kelly is very good defensively while johnson is good offensively but skrtel is boss at both.Skrtel for right back!!! rclxms.gif

should be Overlapping Rightback or Wingback

definitely biased. no surprise.

but i agree

Reina > De Gea

Lucas > Carrick

others i think man u players have the edge.

Close call

Young > Downing

Suarez > Berba

and because im biased:

Carragher 1000000+ > Ferdinand
*
Downing > Young , so far u see Young is good is because he hav meet our Enrique yet.

Suarez 2X > Berba, because Suarez dun sulk

and the real thing is

Coates > Ferdinand

Liverpool Sign Sebastian Coates

Liverpool have completed the signing of Sebastian Coates after the player was granted a full work permit today. The Uruguayan joins from Club Nacional for around £6m.
There had been a delay in confirmation of the Coates deal but it is now understood to have been finalised upon receipt of a work permit, for which he qualified as an international player with outstanding potential.
The 20-year-old shares the same birthday as ex-red Sami Hyypia, and is also the same height. If he turns out to be half the player that Sami was then the Anfield faithful will take to him very well indeed.
The official club statement read:
Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Uruguay international Sebastian Coates on a long-term contract.
The 20-year-old completed his transfer from Nacional after passing a medical and securing a work permit earlier today.
Coates will now link up with his international teammates ahead of their friendly in Kiev on Friday night.

Forlan and Veron was good with their respective Country and fail when with BPL

Lets hope Coates will bring the shine back to our defence and Skrtel can play Right Back now

Miereles wans out, so let him go, watever may be his reasons, He was good before and it doesnt mean tat he will be good in future. Look at Torres.

lets move forward, we hav a good winger in Bellamy and i would like to see the combo of Bellamy + Suarez + StevieG , and also the combo of Henderson + Downing + Adam , remember we also hav the defensive foursome of Enrique + Carra + Coates + Skrtel/Kelly

wat a beautiful setup ,

Thanks John Henry

Anyway, to let Meireles leave means its the End of the story of the Woy Legacy, tat was the only good buy of Woy at Anfield, and bring back Bellamy means tat Rafa was right all the while

Gerrard best position is Attacking Midfielder, He can pass(pin point) left or right to either Bellamy or Downing to do the killer punch.

If we want to play gerrard as attacking midfielder then we might have to change our formation and maybe drop caroll.

from wat i see, Carroll is best use a super sub. like Ole Gunnar Solskjær when the opponent is tired and Carroll runs and shots can "kill" them

You gotta point, but the two words in bold are not synonymous at all. tongue.gif

wat i meant was , Carroll's run and shoot will surely kill them or rather puncture the opponent's net , i like to see Carroll run and shoot than see him do some headings biggrin.gif

stevieG is a VERY GOOD captain, we can see how he motivated the players in Istambul. I really like to see him playing with our current squad and the position tat i really like to see him in is Defensive Midfielder . He can read the game well. We can make pin point passes too. He is creative and he can literally "carry" the ball into the box too.
