sure, yeah.

Enjoy the way you are. And no apologies needed. You are forgiven.

But to say me of my arrogance, only shows the kind of ignorance that has befallen and deluded some fans here.

and again, YNWA  tongue.gif

Yeah, you take one post of mine and draw conclusions from there.Very intelligent and mature of you.Calling other fans deluded and ignorant is
uncharacteristic of an 'intelligent'' and ''mature'' fan.Stop your drivel

Just to get certain things of your thick skull, what do you say about this post?

FML.Anyway its a good thing that the expectations will lower down with a number of our deluded fans who think we are gonna win the league.
Comments on newspaper and websites are embarassing.''this year liverpool will be champion'' ''liverpool will take no 19'' doh.gif

Bring on gerrard and spurs.Spurs are due a thumping from us.Let them be the punching bag for our frustrations.

Forgive the strong words but it's the truth.

Just to lower sky high expectations,we have never won there since they were promoted to EPL.So i think it's fair to comment that this trip is tougher than
Emirates earlier.Arsenal was in all time low with lack of transfers, injuries, loss of key players. On the other hand,Stoke are doing really well, unbeaten in the league and gave thun a thrashing in the europa league plus they have strengthened really well in the transfer window with crouch etc.

BUT,if we play our pass and move game we stand a good chance to win icon_rolleyes.gif
Again, our key to this match is the little magician luis suarez.

You dont have anything to say about this posts, but one post out of frustration and you already take out the sword. You maybe older than me,but if you dont give respect then dont expect the same from me icon_rolleyes.gif

You should know better not to reply to people's frustrations especially after a defeat like this.I don't reply back to those who are angry and frustrated.
And where did i contradict my post,i didnt expect us to win 3-0 or 4-0.But as fan at heart,i didnt want defeat and was definitely disappointed with the result.
Yeah continue belittling others and giving indirect insults, you wont get any even if you ask for it. biggrin.gif

thanks for the song mate.

it's that song that has kept me up even in the face of taking crap from my fellow peers.

Loving a club and their history is more than just the occasional celebration of winning. it's also about the philosophy and the direction of the club. KD has brought back morale, belief and a sense of belonging that so far no other manager has been able to give. and yes not even Rafa. I don't think i am a super fan, i think i am far from that. i am still humbled by the things i read, the news of the club new and old.

to fans who likes to think that this club is for u to support only when they win, then this is not the club for u. you are looking for a glorified excuse for your jersey over teh weekend, there are plenty of other clubs out there that would not make you feel shameful wearing your jersey or sitting down taking crap from your peers blush.gif

again, YNWA! and yes it's a song to remember, and remember it hard.

Ok everyone take a deep breath and step away from the keyboard. IF you're gonna argue, then attack the points being made and not the characters. We're better than this.

It never is nice to see to Liverpool fans trade insults/names with each other.

Been lurking for a while - wasn't really much that I could contribute... wasn't too bothered about winning or losing actually, perhaps i've calmed down a bit with age or maybe because I am simply glad that we've gone back to doing business the Liverpool way - behind closed doors and not having any real danger from insolvency and its ugly brethens, even if it means that we are still unable to mount a proper title challenge.

Come on old timers - you must surely admit that being also rans back in the spice boys era was more comforting than the tumultuous few seasons before this whistling.gif

But I do have a few complaints - although if anyone deserves to be given the benefit of a doubt, it'll be KD. I for one do not think that we have spent all too wisely. Was it necessary to pay over the odds for British talent? We had money, and I doubt that we could not have been able to afford people like Mata. And I do not think that he would have turned us down outright either. It is just that we chose to go for the likes of Henderson and Downing (which I am pleased with, of course laugh.gif). I disagree with the way we have spent our small fortune - could have done with more variety if you ask me.

Case in point - we missed out on that overpriced young defender who ended up at Manchester United, but we later went and signed one of hottest young south american defender for a much smaller fee iinm. The 'replacement' is better than the 'first choice' perhaps. Unless of course if the management had planned to sign them both - now that would have been a different story altogether.

Whoops it sure is hot in here sweat.gif But just remember guyz we all want the same thing here. Just continue your support through good n bad.

For me, all the players have done everything they could to win us the game or at least salvage a point. It's a combination of:-

good defending by Stoke
-they defended very well almost like good old Everton. Close down quickly.

luck was not on our side
-hand balls not given. Miss target by Suarez. The one on one chance felled into the wrong player. Any natural striker will either round the keeper or place the ball.

But on the tactical part, I think KD could have done better by changing our approach in the 2nd half given how Stoke defended in the 1st half. Any we wouldn't discuss about this had we converted the chances. BTW Chelsea draw with Stoke last time if I'm not mistaken. We created enough chances, just unlucky not to score.

not a bad performance....very convincing & attacking display but we lose because we cannot convert our chance...luck not on our side...
btw, to calling for carra head its ridiculous. To replace him with someone that so new to this league is so unwise thinking..coates have to be here one or two years first before he can replaced carragher...apart from that, skrtel is queue in front of him.
if reina make a mistake, would you guy call for doni to came out immediately doh.gif ??

The team's mentality is not there. They panic every time they attack and seemed a bit clueless at times. We have firepower now but thin on creativity in the midfield. To tell ya the truth, I felt a little bored when watching them play. Although we had more possession and were more threatening in attack, there were lots of misplaced passes, no fluidity and many mistakes by the team.

I think in regards to Carra, many still thinks he should play like a young fast centerback. they expect him to chase down opponents and close them down.

He is everything we hope for in a defensive player but he was never pacy to begin with. He's value was the way he read games, took leadership for the back 4 and is still a iron pillar that most of the defensive player fall back on.

Granted he made a couple of mistakes (one at Bolton and another was a very very soft penalty that would not be given any other day) and some spectacular own goals. But he's value goes beyond just the player being on the pitch. he's ability to command the back 4 is one of the major reasons Kenny needs him on the field.

I know there will come a time for Carra to decide that he will be a back up for a younger more vibrant centerback like Coates (Ko-ah-tess tongue.gif ) . But he's guidance for the young protege will no doubt be invaluable. That is why Liverpool needs him, that is why for now he cannot be replaced in all games and that is why he needs to shake of the minor setbacks and move on with more determination already shown by him for all his service being a faithful Red.

His time will come to step down and maybe all too soon (given fans calling for his "retirement"), but i only pray we will have another figure in either Skrtel, Agger or young Coates to wear the Carra mantle with the same confidence shown by the legend. blush.gif

you are right, but this season is about having 3-4 new players that has not played together in a single season to gel, iron our the chinks, go thru a melding process, join in the brotherhood, male-bonding etc etc. (yeah, that was too much).

anyway to be fair its not the lack of creativity i saw. its more like we are spoilt by choice as who to pass, who to take a shot, which side to go - left or right. we had at a few incidents 3-4 in the middle just outside the box being a bit cluttered whether to cross, shoot or dribble in. We need some faster decisions made on the fly then just moping around the mid waiting for the whole team to camp at the opponents box.

it wasn't boring when the team had not played like this kind of attacking football for so many years. I use to sit thru Woy's tactics and that is boring. So far since he left, i sat down with a "wee bit of optimism" and appreciation that i see some real improvements from a squad that everyone including our own fans in many places has written off as a club not worth the support. biggrin.gif

YNWA!
