Hi guys, here's my plan, please advice if its feasible or I'm being delusional:

step 1. Get my uk architecture degree assessed by architect accreditation council of Australia and hope they recognise as equivalent (if this fail then that's it no more hope )
Step 2. Get IELTS and try my best to get band 8.....
step 3. Submit EOI, btw is it possible to show on the same EOI that I want to apply for 2 different types of visa, subclass 189 or 190 (architect is in the list of high demand occupations in WA, and Perth is where I intend to go, so possibly I could use the extra 5 points for skilled-nominated?)
Step 4. Wait to get invited..

It's almost close to impossible to get sponsored by employer so I'm counting on this route to get a visa. Yay or nay?

Is it advisable to consult agents and how much do they charge?

Thanks a bunch!

Bear in mind if you have state nomination you need to be in that state to get your job. Try to apply for the normal visa if worse come to worse then apply for the state nominated visa.

I guess its feasible but do have a mindset that you might not necessary work in the field you intend to.

if you prefer Perth and have friends or family members there then I don't see the reason why not? subclass 190 is given higher priority than 189 which mean you will get invited sooner .

If you can meet at least 60 points then don't even bother go for employer sponsorship. No benefits and employer can "harass" you because you are locked to them

I think you have better idea of the process so I don't see why you need an agent as well unless you have difficult case/situation that requires opinion

Yes, but if u wanna overstay, they'll blacklist u and penalise u.
They'll be very strict on this coz too many people overstayed.
I suggest that u go and get a course to study or skill they required. then further to apply for work.

ACTUALLY i am doing business admin degree course now. this sem my last dy , will graduate next year. so i consider my highest qualification is stpm. and i know that fresh grad want to get admin job in australia is near impossible since they have their local grads which are more skilled. i dont mind the work hours or load, as long as i can land on a job there. i am used to being pressured so culture shock and stress i can easily deal with it since i went thru a lot of these and fully prepared. just wonder can i get land a job there? jobs other than my field is ok as long i am paid.

Sorry that i don't used to pour cold water to anyone but if you're thinking of working in Australia, you MUST have a visa.
Eventhough you have a visa, no guarantee you'll find a job before your landing. Some lucky one got their job like O&G industry or other very skillful person mainly in technical (blue collars) which they can't find in Australia.
I must say, it's not the Ozzie culture to work underpressure or always work OT. This is not the main thing they're looking for. If this is their criteria in the 1st place, they'll be like Singapore.
Please refer my previous message. If you really wanna work in Australia by skills, please check the DIAC SOL list. Take a course and work from there

think about visa first, job later. here is not about stress or pressure but is all about good communication .
