Just back from the Driving Course. There will be a group of Insight owner attend tomorrow. Anyone from here?

I love the part that they turn off the ABS. The car spin 180 degree.

if changing rims, will the warranty be voided?

just did my 3rd service (free) with semi syn oil, did the alignment, balancing and rotation of tyre only rm74.xx minus rm40 free voucher, paid rm34.xx only.

I heard from SC, Honda bringing in new engine oil Honda 0w20 Oil - #08798-9029 specially for hybrid engines, said to cost around RM150+. Apparently, tis suited for CRZ for the sports performance, but insight also can use la. Should be this one :Genuine Honda 0-20W Synthetic Blend Engine Oil. Falls under the same category as fully synthetic. Not too sure if its worth the money, as still need to change every 5K mileage.

Added on November 7, 2011, 11:51 amWell.. I just know by driving my car lor, just feels less responsive towards acceleration, need to press harder than before.
Its quite a simple procedure actually, off your engine take out keys, press and HOLD on the reset button (behind the button which u normally press to change the screen), while holding on to the button, switch on your car (dont need to start engine), and wait for the RESET CVTF message to come out, it will prompt yes or cancel. Just reset it and you're done.

I did it in MH Prestige, the SA showed it to me how to do it, no charge for it. Normally resetting CVTF is done every 20k mileage (claimed by the SA), a indicator would come out showing to reset it. But u can do it before, doesn't really matter.

After resetting, yes it does show an improvement in fuel efficiency.... mine normally ard 17km/l, now ard 20km/l.
Power wise, don't think it does any much difference for me.
Try it la.

Hi guys, gonna send my dad's Insight for 5k service next week. I just noticed that the inner part of the disk brake is getting rusty. Is this normal?

I have reset the cvtf. I think there's a track log where it will tell us what mileage we should do the maintenance. Apparently service center didn't reset for me.

Mine was at 14k maintenance reset, actual mileage now is 26k. It displays next reset should be at 40k.

Anyway, yet to try out any difference

Mine, I did 1K maintenance...no wonder there is some improvement on fuel efficiency. Before that full tank around 400-420. Now more than that. Must be the reset probably CVTF...
