Yes its normal, provided the front/back is Ray Barrier tinting, others security tint.

Met with a minor accident yesterday, guy was double parking and I was passing through his car, and he simply opened his door without looking if any cars was passing by.. bang... hit my insight, dented my back door and minor scratches.. there goes her virginity after just 4 mths..

Asked Honda Workshop for a quote, told me RM585 for paint of whole door and knockjob, plus need to leave the car for 2-3 days. Screw it...
So off I went to fix the minor paintjob and dent repair today at Bdr Sri Damansara.

The paints used, according to the surgeons, they are ICI paints, just the cans are different coz they mixed the color and poured into these:


Job was done in 6 hours, 12 noon ordered paint, finished 6pm.
Was pretty worried bout the color match, but luckily they really MATCH! and it does give the pearly glow too!
Told the surgeon I wont pay if it doesn't match, he said no problems lol.
Damage: RM190 (all in)
Imo, really excellent job, would recommend to any of you guys who needs his service. And most importantly, price is right!

I guess it might be true, but won't be until at least 3-4 yrs later. Maybe by then can repaint whole car with ori paint

Just thought want to share this, from my recent experience... if the either party want to make a claim from insurance, both parties have to make a police report. If 1 party makes the police report, the other doesn't, then you would have to wait ages, for the police to "find" the owner of the car. And whilst that, you can't make any claims from insurance.

Hence, if it would be best that BOTH parties go to the police station at the same time, or have some sort of an assurance that the other party does go and make the report. Else it would be of lost cause.

Who knows how long the police gonna take to find the owner, as they claim they have thousands of files whom are only 1 person making the report. Also overheard you have to make some "payment" to quicken the process....

Also have to go KL Main traffic police office to get the report printed, and to follow up on it there. zzz.

My ride also feels the power slagging.. suddenly feel like the car heavier or sort..
Does resetting need appointment? and do they charge anything for it?

I heard from SC, Honda bringing in new engine oil Honda 0w20 Oil - #08798-9029 specially for hybrid engines, said to cost around RM150+. Apparently, tis suited for CRZ for the sports performance, but insight also can use la. Should be this one :Genuine Honda 0-20W Synthetic Blend Engine Oil. Falls under the same category as fully synthetic. Not too sure if its worth the money, as still need to change every 5K mileage.

Added on November 7, 2011, 11:51 amWell.. I just know by driving my car lor, just feels less responsive towards acceleration, need to press harder than before.
Its quite a simple procedure actually, off your engine take out keys, press and HOLD on the reset button (behind the button which u normally press to change the screen), while holding on to the button, switch on your car (dont need to start engine), and wait for the RESET CVTF message to come out, it will prompt yes or cancel. Just reset it and you're done.

I did it in MH Prestige, the SA showed it to me how to do it, no charge for it. Normally resetting CVTF is done every 20k mileage (claimed by the SA), a indicator would come out showing to reset it. But u can do it before, doesn't really matter.

After resetting, yes it does show an improvement in fuel efficiency.... mine normally ard 17km/l, now ard 20km/l.
Power wise, don't think it does any much difference for me.
Try it la.

For some reason, resetting the CVTF, does improve responsiveness of acceleration as a few of us encountered "sluggishness" or slow responsive acceleration and also jerking due to cvt shift is reduced also. Not sure why is it, but since it does improve all those, no harm to reset it.

Well the recommendation is for bro noob123, as he wants to claim insurance from the other party, hence price does not matter, and since they are Honda appointed repair centre, they use all original stuff, so it might be abit pricey for those who wants to repair outa your own $.
My experience with them, 1 door paintjob + knockjob = RM600. With warranty.
Pricing would differ if you are claiming for insurance, as they markup the price alot. So I suggest you go there have a quote first
Else any other shop would be cheaper than them .
