insight have timing belt? or it uses timing chain? how bout the CVT belt? need to change or not??

Added on November 2, 2011, 5:30 pmput KNN void warranty or not?
*
1. Insight Use timing Chain (No replacement needed) it is a 3rail chain
2. CVT uses steel belt (No replacement needed) it will not spoil
3. Use KNN wont void warranty but make throttle body more dirty... (more maintenance to throttle body)

i have been cruising IN2 more than 22k km and i am pretty sure the milleage that i am reporting here.
just ignore my statement if u dun find it informative.

here's some of the googled info on resetting CVT for Freed and FIT; which I believe it is applicable to Insight as well.
http://www.fitfreak.net/forums/1st-generat...-resetting.html
http://hfsg.friendhood.net/t150-resetting-of-cvt

HC reset my ride CVT as I complaint on the power slagging and poor engine response.
The reset section took them about 30minutes.

Great info jacek...... thumbup.gif
My ZE2 managed to go for 620-680kms from full tank to low fuel light. City driving.
If highway I believe it can go more with a constant speed of 110km/h

My ride also feels the power slagging.. suddenly feel like the car heavier or sort..
Does resetting need appointment? and do they charge anything for it?
