Uhm, means the earlier my SG license issuance date is, the lower my car insurance cost? If that's the case i might just get the "slip" from JPJ when i balik KK next month. JPJ KK should be ulu enough gua? hmm.gif

that's true to a point. Especially young drivers. also convert early, coz you won't know what other test the LTA will add in later on for you to convert.

its not good or bad. its actually a win - win situation for both....
u get less hassle to pay it in the police station, preserve a good driving record.
at the same time, help out our poor policemen a little because they are seriously underpaid.

Well, it leads to a seasonal event and sometimes blatant framing just for the "coffee". sweat.gif sweat.gif
Underpaid, yes...I do agree if you compare them with those in Sg.
However, they are not giving the impression of them deserving a higher pay too.
Look at the size of most of them and you will doubt they can even give chase after a suspect.

I think most of us here like our country, its people and the unique culture.

Other than umno and their gang I think all of us don't like the way our politician run the country. This is the main reason why our country still "Bo leh"(don't have) and we are still second class. I don't mind being second clasd as long as I can earn more on average than those first class in Malaysia.

So I m happy to have malaysia as home. Just have to keep searching for better "pejaga rumah".

few factors.
1. with MY license, its easier for you to buy a Malaysia car.
2. when stopped by police, show them ur MY license, kopi money price will drop.
3. SG license have this stupid rules that when you reach a certain age (55 or 65 not very sure). u need to do eye test. if u fail, they revoke ur license.
*
On point 1, can give some example? So i can still buy and drive a malaysian car rite?

On point 3, By time i reach 65, can i convert back my SG license to Malaysia license?

If I can't convert, I can always buy. JPJ is known to be one of the most corrupted agency.

Don't need, cash will do. Ask them to send directly to your garage for display.

If take loan, bank want you to buy insurance. Car insurance need your driving license.

To drive the car you need road tax, you need insurance before you can pay for road tax. So need your driving license again.

You are driver too.

I would say that 90% of the people who migrated from M'sia are mainly "forced" to do so due to the "lack of rights and opportunities." as citizens. But that's not to say that you should not be doing anything other than watching and moaning what happens in Malaysia. We should all excercise our rights as citizens at the voting post.

GE is around the conner. Do the right thing and excercise your right as a citizen. Register to vote and vote for a better Malaysia. I've done it, have you?
