Thanks for the response! Recently Citibank is upgrading the Platinium to the PremierMiles.

Not to mention that Citibank Platinum and PremierMiles and both entirely different class of product.
Where did you get such info ? Please avoid posting such info unless you have a clear understanding of Citibank's card products and avoid words from agents.

Check the instructions on the envelop that your received whether you need to call or not.
The Poslaju packing is perhaps not by Poslaju ... it is issued by the bank if I'm not mistaken. Tamper proof packaging system - not so easy to tear and you need to use something sharp to cut it open. Even the seal does not reseal itself once you open it. If someone else open it (and it is not you), you will definitely notice it. Possibly these are new security measure coz recently they caught the Postman themselves stealing the credit cards ... carefully cutting the chip and transplanting it onto another card for fraudulent purposes.

BTW ... the guily parties were severely dealt with as this seriously affected both the bank (indirectly) and Pos Malaysia reputation.

Ambank Credit Card is offering 20% cash back (during weekend) until March of 2012. What I know is it applies for petrol (any), grocery (tesco and more), and some other...anyone got more info?

Also the monthly cash back caps is at RM80.

I guess you did not read last few pages where I posted an article on AmBank promo, click here to read more on AMBank Promotion 2011. Also read the Terms and Conditions in AmBank Group website.

I don't get you. What do you mean by Citibank is upgrading Platinum to PremierMiles ? Citi PremierMiles card, despite being a VISA Signature card, is actually a class lower than the regular Platinum credit card in Citibank Malaysia system.

Miles & hye, I know what he meant. Citibank offering PremierMiles to existing Platinum Cardholders. Someone mentioned this in my blog.

I was informed by CS that I can use it right away after I sign at the back. No activation is required. I was a bit shocked then. I don't feel secure of this kind of arrangement.

Actually this happens to many other cards as well.
I could even swipe my OCBC Titanium without activation. (You think OCBC should be more stringent right?)

Wanna to share something...

I just received my MBB WMC statement and I noticed that I do have 158,630 TreatsAirmiles under the "Treats Airmiles Oversea" column... hmm.gif
For the past month, I didn't have any oversea spending/usage, but only at Apple Online Shop. Conclusion is, Maybankard treat the Apple Online Shop as a "oversea usage" (without extra charge).
