btw, any Coffee Bean regulars here?

Just wondering if there's a minimum amount required for cc payment. Don't wanna get into an embarrassing situation; just like the time when I tried to pay a RM10-ish bill at Secret Recipe with cc a few years back.. laugh.gif

yes can swipe even just a cup of regular blended

WTA. If I erased the CVV from the card, is it still valid and accepted by merchants?
What is the best method to conceal it?
*
i think it is still valid because they dont need the code for normal POS transaction.
erry has suggested one good method to conceal the cvc code in the maybankard forum.

just make sure u sign up for mastercard secured and VBV for visa to prevent any illegal online purchase

I am still being cautious because my transactions using OCBC Ti MC went through as the system did not prompt for the secure code.

Went to Papa John and when I reached home, found out that the cashier peeled the double sided tape used to conceal the 3-digits. I just paste it last night. I am getting paranoid with the recent case.

Not sure if I get you here but previously there was no need to print anything when ordering online. Just click click click fill the blanks and then just wait for the pizza to be delivered. Normally the riders would say 'dah bayar kan?' and I'd say 'yup'. laugh.gif

I've no idea if they still have the mobile cc terminal though... from my experience the pizza hut riders always forget to bring the terminal despite the receipt clearly stating "AMEX/ VISA / MASTERCARD required".
Plus their number is not exactly toll free.. so yeah that's why 'pay online'.

oh my pizzahut online order is pickup, not delivery.
coz my address is not in their database! vmad.gif
but its ok, save delivery charges? brows.gif

Fairly easy. Just ask nicely.
I have only known one or two cases where Citibank rejected the customer's application to waive their annual fees.

Not really easy for me.
I cancelled Citibank Giant card as my request for AF waiver was declined despite a frequent user. I was polite on the phone.

I don't think your method will work.
Installments work differently where the bank blocks off the total installment value and (depending on the bank) returns it off to you either gradually or only after you complete the installment. Your method works if it is not installment based but don't forget for installment, the bank actually will charge you on a scheduled basis every month.

Therefore you are not repaying your account by depositing RM4K. You are prepaying but the bank take the money from you on a monthly basis.

(Probably someone else have another opinion)

Hahahahaha!!!!! That's a good one. The stuff kids come up the days .... rclxub.gif

The answer is no. The bank's reason to ask for your saving's account is the same reason they ask about your income. Savings / current account indicate where your salary goes into if the bank is looking for relevancy between both information.

Credit limit is mainly determined by your monthly ability to service your monthly credit card dues and not how much you have in your savings account. Please don't think the bank is that stupid coz they have sophisticated risk management system to look at your risk profiles and (in some cases) forensics.

Your method may work for pledged card where it is possible to get 1:1 of your cash vs. credit limit. Too bad you need to lock the cash for as long you wish to use the card. Lift the FD and credit card is gone !

Tsk ... tsk ... tsk ... the kindof ideas kids nowadays have.

Just wondering, a small question, as currently on my hand i have at least 3-4 Possible MBB2 Gold/Plat Customers that is Very Potential and wants to apply those cards, and as a person who recommends them, they would like to offer me back some stuffs, but those that is Indirectly (like commission for helping them apply?).

So.. now my question is.. How to become a MB card agent? or...If Best, all cards agent, as if counted others like my friends... all graduated wants to own a card... biggrin.gif, and i foresee the opportunity >.< (Aka Part time agent)

i think certain bank has their own "reservation"
like CIMb, if not mistaken, they allow usage up to only 90% for instalment and the remaining, for normal spending.
so u need to check with your bank and may have to pump in more so that u can enjoy the instalment promotion.

As mentioned, you need to ask whether they want to help you or not.
Can be tricky coz as far as I know MBB does not use 3rd party to sell their cards / sign up their customers. (I'm not talking about card promotions) It is their own staff which is likely not commission based. (I could be mistaken)

How many credit cards do you carry with you all the time? My wallet has not enough place for all my cards (credit cards + loyalty cards + ID cards + ATM + TnG). rclxub.gif smile.gif

I am wondering how bro Gen-X carries all his cards. brows.gif

Planning to get a card holder. Any experience/recommendation to share? smile.gif
