the 'g' isn't as bad as driving a meritus gp2 machine.
and since car is mean more of a street machine, am happy with the outcome. one final tuning and am done with it.
btw, 1.5 bottle of bosch dot is enough for brake bleeding.

mxsteven@
with forged internal parts on 4g18p, sub 200whp should be okay.

mrsafwan@
waja is indeed a good handling car. even more with suspension tweaks.

i would recommend you to save up for reflash, if u r really getting acp then get it from a reputable installer to install and tune for u.

with RM2xx better keep it coz i dont think it will help any changes.. sometimes when u changed some stuff u thought that power is increased because u wanted so..... and u felt like power really increased..... but i can tell u... actually there is no gain.... to gain HP on gasolene vehicle is not that simple compare to diesel.

OOo...ok2 tq boss. Sorry for no response...suddenly my internet connection lost. doh.gif

Need some advise sifoo's, my family car having disc brake problem, when braking steering vibrate quite hard... so now waiting to claim warranty but still SC doesnt call yet. Tomorrow im planning to drive it up to north so is it ok to drive with this condition? i wondered the strong vibration while braking will effect other part like bearing or shaft or etc, etc..(snow ball effect).

Thanks.. smile.gif

hi
i'm using a Waja 1.5(A) year 2005 (i just got this car from my brother)
just wanna ask some questions :

1. may i know why the fuel indicator seems like faulty ah ? example, 5 minutes ago it indicates at 3rd bar..then after 5-6 minutes,it goes down in between 2nd and 3rd bar.then i just drive like normal then it goes up to 3rd bar back.is it normal for waja ?

2.when the car goyang2,i can hear the "kriukk kriukk" sound.sounds like something is loose.is this normal aswell ?

3.three days ago, fuel totally empty then i fill in RM50 at Pandan Indah (half tank).Drove all the way to Seri Kembangan -> Kuchai lama -> Serdang -> Seri Kembangan -> Section 14 PJ -> Seri Kembangan .now the fuel warning logo lit up and the fuel indicator is above 1 level from empty..hows my FC ? is it normal ?

Waja 1.5???? or Wira??? Waja only have 1.6 and 1.8 and chencellor is 2.0 V6

... The fuel indicator did not KO... it is the fuelpump sensor dirty which need to be clean... if cleaned edi still cannot then u have to replace whole fuel pump coz it comes with fuel pump.

regarding no. (2), from my experience.. what u can do, park the car, and with both hands, go n goyang goyang the car body at the rear (just above the rear tyre), coz if u hear the kriukk kirukk sound when u were shaking the car laterally, it means, the small bush arm (depends on where u heard the sound, front or rear) have worn out. they somewhat call it tulang anjing. it costs me rm90 per piece for MMC brand (solid round shape bar connecting both bushes) or rm40-60 for local made, a c-section bar WELDED to both bushing housing. performance wise, i think the same, but reliability wise, MMC is better.

however, if u push the car vertically n the sound kriuk kriuk was heard, probably the absorber.

hope this helps

Remove your rear seat, there's a circular hatch in the center where the rear seat rests. Remove the hatch to access the fuel pump sitting in a well.

Detached the power cable and two fuel lines connected to the pump from your car (but remember how they are connected because you need to put them back later!!!!). Now the tricky part...there's a metal ring holding the pump in place which will take some force to rotate it out of it's place and allow the pump to be taken out.

The fuel pump looks like this, and the fuel level sensor is as labeled (random google image).

It is essentially an arched array of contact strips touching the moving arm of the floater. Those are the parts that could get dirty and give you bad readings.

Personally I would take it to a workshop if you've never seen it done before. A new pump costs RM400-500 so it's not something you wanna be messing with willy-nilly.

Regarding question 3, you need to document the actual distance you traveled in order to calculate the FC. For best estimation, fill up your gas tank to full (until the gas pump auto stop), travel, then refuel again to full when you're done. Note the distance you've traveled and how many litre was pumped in on your second refuel.

but if the driver is not a top speed kind of driver.. then would it be better to use the acp to advance the powerband and improve pickup while sacrificing top end performance? (since he's not gonna use it anyway)

FYI acp will result of lost early stages of torque and will create vibration resonance then will destroy internal engine parts. at 1500RPM the acp is creating 30hz natural resonance while the engine ignition will be at 0.5 order spectrum which is 15hz. There will be also 90hz resonance at 3rd order which will create some vibration along the rev going up. The amplitude of the resonance is because of the combustion and the crank order.

I did the test using VibXpert instrument and i confirmed.
