QUOTE(mxsteven @ Aug 16 2011, 07:48 AM) Its a morning sickness... just Update ECU firmware then its ok.... i can confirm this because this is very common problem yeah.. just about to tell u the same thing.. if go threebond with thundergod_cid he can fiz for the matter.. isn't it? heheQUOTE(yngwie @ Aug 16 2011, 08:00 AM) what is your preference? comfort or handling? btw.. about to change to those persona type lower arm.. find this http://www.mudah.my/Evo+rear+lower+arm+for...ton-8603298.htmfor comfort, stock setup is still the best. either stock proride or sachs is fine. but i personally prefer monroe for comfort and a little bit of handling. fyi, if your waja is quite aged, going for sports absorber or adjustable will kill your worn out arm bushes almost instantly. too much free play on steering is caused by worn out bushes. you should only consider the original proton which cost around 35 bucks or pu bushes which is around 1xx bucks for better feel. never settled for 10 bucks 'ayam' brand bushes. fuel tank seldom had this leakage problem. unless it hit something hard. check the 2 hose on rear right side(1 big & 1 small) that goes to the fuel tank. most of the time, worn out hose usually break and thus caused leakage / fuel smell. said evo lower arm.. good eh? |

i would suggest once ur planing to mod exhaust system.. either auto or manual.. go for whole exhaust setup.. for auto.. 4-2-1 + decat + s-flow.. better distribution of flow.. bear in mind waja got 2 box on the exhaust system before muffler.. also when u change exhaust upgrade the filter for better flow 1.. as ur car need to breath well before it can extract well.. my FC (auto) can get 510km full tank previously before changing my rims.. hehe~.. now barely 450km

QUOTE(blo0dLuSt @ Aug 16 2011, 11:02 PM) haha im still using stock 4-1 . nt enuf money to change lg its the air filter.. drop-in k&n is a good choice.. naahh.. i've been using 17" ever since the car is given to me.. i was crazy about lightweight rims that time.. and my 510km full tank i'm on 17".. just recently i go for wider jj rims.. so the extra weight explains the FC.. btw rim wise i juz use 16 inch instead of stock 15. not much chge in FC. if 17 ppl say will mkn mnyak abit |

QUOTE(kang5239 @ Aug 17 2011, 05:31 PM) hmmm.. mayb sifus in here already tired of people asking the same questions over 100 times.. sometimes a simple search in this thread would come in handy.. unless ur case is something new then i think there will be alot of answers u'll get.. not that we are being arrogant or ignorant..QUOTE(tjroy @ Aug 17 2011, 05:39 PM) i am not sifu but i do know that our waja auto gearbox do has filter inside it but its not changeable everytime you change your atf, as the filter is located 'deep' inside your gear box, to reach it, u need to take down the the whole gearbox. the filter is design to last the time life of the vehicle/ gearbox. change your atf at least 20k km to ensure smoothness and reliability. bewre of fake proton atf ya. hooo.. like that are?? now i know |

btw.. just got my car.. previously got clanking metal sound going over uneven road.. so while changing those engine mounting ask them to diagnose.. seems that the evo brake shim plates rattling around there.. so
1. engine mounting changed.. the cabin feels more quite.. and the engine seems far away from behind the wheels from before.. 2. faulty rear lower arm.. no more sound from the back 3. the clanking metal sound gone.. so quite satisfied now with the result.. hehe |

QUOTE(Coinboxseller @ Aug 19 2011, 08:00 AM) to me both are still good fuel.. unless ur willing to pay for ron97 coz that is even better choice.. its actually up to the user reference.. some say this brand good some say that brand good.. coz i also once change fuel according to people recommendation.. but in the end i still go for shell.. but it doesn't hurt me to use any other brand as its still the same ron95.. if u've tried all there must be 1 u prefer the most.. so go with that.. my 50cent~ |
