Wah, if Lee Chong Wei or Koo/Tan win the World Championship this Sunday, may be you will enjoy Monday as a public holiday.  rclxms.gif

QUOTE(L7Awesome @ Aug 11 2011, 03:15 PM)
You are fortunate.... Malaysia has got more holidays than Singapore.  Just curious, any reason why they want to follow Malaysia instead of SG?
*
our factories are in msia and we trade commodities following bursa
QUOTE(Tigerr @ Aug 11 2011, 03:16 PM)
The HR from Malaysia??? so, set the public holidays follow malaysia???  tongue.gif
*
no leh.. boss' instruction... but during sg's pub holis, we are usually in holis mood also... 1/2 day most of the time... lol
QUOTE(mercury8400 @ Aug 11 2011, 03:24 PM)
Fresh grad in SG expect more than SGD3,500 per month for starting salary???? Unless they are first class grads, the rest can forget about it..... stop dreaming...
*
i believe 2nd class is expecting that as well.... a good yardstick for fresh grad's salary is the SAF's paygrade of course minus allowance
QUOTE(deodorant @ Aug 11 2011, 03:27 PM)
working in singapore but supporting malaysian office? usually outsourcing goes to cheaper countries and not the other way around though tongue.gif
i got 25 days annual leave, work 2+months can take 1 week off smile.gif
*
sometimes cheaper country dont have the needed brains... all cabut to exp country liao... but the irony is the employees at the exp country is drained from the cheaper country doh.gif
QUOTE(ivanswk @ Aug 11 2011, 03:35 PM)
guess all banking related job, got long leave,
so u can go for your core leave and all the shit will float out then hehe..  nod.gif
*
actually i believe is 14 days annual + 1 week of mandatory leave... total 21 days for fresh... mandatory leave is at the company's discretion
QUOTE(L7Awesome @ Aug 11 2011, 04:02 PM)
Wow, your job is certainly made in heaven in terms of leave eh..... are you a teacher? Just curious...

actually you guys should feel fortunate to be able to stay back in the office.
my job here start at 9-6pm, everyday will leave at 6pm sharp. feel very bored and useless because the company doesn't need us to stay back.
which also means that you got not much things to do and even without you, there is no lost to the company.
*
Ummm.... u okay or not? Wow, do not let your boss see this. Wait till u have to work late late and weekend often, then you will say, "man, I miss my 9-6 job!" It's fun at the beginning but sooner or later, u will miss life outside! hehehe... Like me, when those weekend that I do not need to work, I will do my very best not to set foot in Singapore unless I have to be a tour guide...

those who drive in SG will spend over 10k/year at least, so you are richer than them by saving and investing the money.

@jason my GF just did her medical check up at one of the raffles clinics. xray/take blood on wednesday, results out on friday ... so 2 days.

furthermore your IPA, you need your company to sign on it to verify details.

then you need to make e-appointment with the EPSC (EP services centre), this one typically u can only make it 2 weeks in the future.

then you show up for your appointment at EPSC, they take all your stuff, and the actual EP card will only be issued after 3-4 days.
