I got an invitation from an company in south area, job scope is desktop support.with my 2 years IT experience , what expected salary should i get?

I been applying for job that allow me to apply for S-pass for few months, so far still fail. I think I have to lower my expected my salary to WP now. is SGD1800 is enough for me save 30% of my salary.

my estimation:
Rental:700
Food:300
Transportation:200
no entertainment
still at bordeline to save 30% of salary. I can apply for similiar job in Malaysia to save on my rental , but my job scope require me to travel using my own transport, when my car had been stolen. really headache now. >_>

I wish i am one. so that you can send me to work
btw to real topic. the range in southern area is around 550-700. I just pick the top one.

KL no 4k job ? 

IT industry. I know it is very competitive in Singapore. yes there is 4K job in KL, but you must know backup, database, exchange, windows, linux ALL IN ONE.    If you have all the skill mentioned, do you settle for just 4K?

little rant here, my application for EPEC visa is still in pending for almost a month. Since I already got some interview invitation from sg company, the visa is almost useless already.

There is no such thing as unrealistic. Anyone can get a job in Singapore.Ask yourself, what is your expected salary?

there are many people out there who are willing to take your job at a lower salary.

woah so fast, the IPA letter got it in just 1 day. Now how long the medical checkup should take. Can I do medical checkup in the morning and get the EP card in the evening in just 1 day, so that i dun have to change flight date?

thanks for the reply. my workplace is in clementi, i found 2 places one near jurong east , one near pioneer, pioneer one is cheaper $50 per month, PUB included, facilities almost the same, but transportation cost $16/m more if i stay in the one near pioneer. is the time saving worth it based on your own experience.
