my friend apply spouse PR for her husband (Good UK Uni PhD working in MNC) and it took 9 months to approve, so even you CAN get the PR but can you survive without a job for that long?

Eh, language barrier. I meant that as a question directly to DM3, as in "dear DM3, are you in a position where you are able to get a PR before getting a job?"

yes like what we said above. Example,

1) my kids are PR because Parent apply for them. (Child application)

2) One PRC got PR, his 3 generation family move to SG with PR in no time until SG GOV hit the brake. (Parent + Child application)

3) Spose with PR can apply PR for his partner (Spouse application)

4) You came to SG, work for years then apply PR (Self application)

So not all application type need the applicant to have a Jobs. DM3 still can get his PR via Child, Parent or Spouse, for self applicant he need a jobs to stand a chance.

what is HoH?

ok kidding on your spoon feeding:
I told my engineering guys even a primary kids in SG can read the datasheet better than them so unless you can read and understand else I better give your jobs to the kids who can read 10 years series.

serious:
1) you dont have the degree yet.
2) if fresh grad cant get jobs than why people still go uni?
3) All of us here were once a fresh grad.

on the particular fields and location:
1) fair competition... means you are disadvantage as non-SG unless you are better than local fresh grad.
