QUOTE(BlueBean @ Aug 19 2011, 12:55 PM) guys, is it advisable to lift and jog at same day? i've googled around. some say it's better to separate it, some say it's better to do it on the same day. but most of them is "i think" or "they say", but never based on actual practical results. what do you guy thinks? It's either you train for strength or conditioning. Attempting to do both results in subpar performance for either.

QUOTE(darklight79 @ Aug 19 2011, 12:54 PM) You carry more weight sitting than standing boss. Sorry boss! Twisted my words pulak. Mah bad. You can lift and jog at the same day, provided you separate them far enough, say around 6 hours or so? But still not an ideal routine. Can do a quick 15 min jog after your lifting session too, if you consider that to be adequate cardio..

Sorry guys but I'm damn annoyed and I just have to rant somewhere. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Frickin pissed off with the McDonalds in Bandar Tun Hussein Onn. Ordered 2 double GCBs to go. When they handed me my food I asked again just to confirm that they were doubles, so the cashier asked one of the other staff if they were. The other person was like 'yes yes it's double'. Got home and both were single GCBs. After me paying the price of 2 doubles. Like hell I'm going back there again.

(nvm, i searched through, you do it PWO) what's your height btw darklight? i've noticed some increments in my waistline as i'm trying to gain weight first, muscle later. that's why i wanna do some cardio to prevent my waistline to further increase, i do understand that it's normal to gain a few inches in this process. Exactly the question I had this morning..... But I guess it's much easier to put off the cardio first, as it could be hard trying to determine your optimal calorie input just for lean mass gain. Or am I missing out something here.. This post has been edited by entryman: Aug 19 2011, 01:36 PM
