guys, is it advisable to lift and jog at same day? i've googled around. some say it's better to separate it, some say it's better to do it on the same day. but most of them is "i think" or "they say", but never based on actual practical results. what do you guy thinks?

It's either you train for strength or conditioning. Attempting to do both results in subpar performance for either.

You carry more weight sitting than standing boss.

Sorry boss! Twisted my words pulak. Mah bad.

You can lift and jog at the same day, provided you separate them far enough, say around 6 hours or so? But still not an ideal routine.

Can do a quick 15 min jog after your lifting session too, if you consider that to be adequate cardio..

understood. i've read some of your posts regarding shredding and you did some jogging, so you do it separately? (nvm, i searched through, you do it PWO)
what's your height btw darklight?
i've noticed some increments in my waistline as i'm trying to gain weight first, muscle later. that's why i wanna do some cardio to prevent my waistline to further increase, i do understand that it's normal to gain a few inches in this process.

Exactly the question I had this morning.....

But I guess it's much easier to put off the cardio first, as it could be hard trying to determine your optimal calorie input just for lean mass gain. Or am I missing out something here..

Lol damn.... I'm the opposite. My waist went down from 34 to 28.5. But I'm still getting stronger. I just do cardio when I feel like it.
