hi everyone...i have a 4mbps streamyx line at my hometown house and i have a UNIFI 5mbps line at my hostel...
My problem is, when i dl dramas from tvboxnow, my UNIFI line can dl as fast as 500kbps+ and finish dl an episode in 20mins...but when i try to dl the same drama at my hometown with streamyx 4mbps line, max i get is 25mbps...and i need to keep run the dl for overnight just to finish dl an episode...
so wats the problem here??help please...

Yes, you are already on a 4MB capable port

I recently upgraded my Streamyx to 4Mb BB plan. It was running fine for a few weeks with a speedtest of 3.6 Mb download until recently when it got reduced to 2.6Mb. I checked my modem dsl status and the downstream rate has been changed to 3Mb from 4Mb. So this explains the sudden drop in download speed. Called up 100 and the tech raised a ticket to get the problem resolved but so far there is no action. Any of you guys experienced this before or does anyone know how this sudden change in port speed could have happened?

Hi, I just wonder if my line can support 4mb. I tried to apply for it last year, and the techician told me the line is unstable. A few months back, telekom installed a new structure across the road, and here's the info. Appreciate it if someone can give some comment. I also play a lot of PS3 games, what can be done to reduce the latency?

Hi guys, just wonder any 4MB user in Kuching @ Poh Kwong Park area? And how is the performance? I'm going to move to that area soon and I'm thinking to upgrade my current 1MB to 4MB, but would to heard from user from that area 1st before make my move (if there is any).

After f$%king the TM shitheads early in the morning, they finally directed their Network department to re-instate my speed back to to 4Mb.

My 4mbps line has been giving me problems too - does it matter if I switch DNS or not? Will this affect my connection? It hangs a lot more and gives me errors on other DNS. So I switched back but Steramyx line is still bad. Will have to call them soon. I need to restart my modem and router and then keep on finding a good IP. Other IPs just don't work at all. Why is that?

Check ur modem page directly connect to the phone line and pc see the sync speed , also try direct connection without any splitter or lightning arrestor

Hi all,

By looking at the LAN statistics isn the best way cos the port is limited in number. You can simply PM me ur details then I will submit directly for you if u r interested to upgrade, and dont worry because if there is no 4Mb port, your application will be rejected by the system.

today i jus go to tm point and upgrade to 4mb line... but i didt receive any support doc from tm after i done my upgrade.. i got few question to ask sifu here..

1. How the charges will apply to me after i upgrade to 4mb (unipack), i means the pro-rate charges.

2. how long will they take for upgrade the service?

3. will any tm installer engineer call to confirm the speed etc etc?
