I asked them,and i tried to call 100.
After that they say the line busy ...sighs.
Now i keep asking them to change my copper line,i think they will bring my 5120 to 4096 =/
But i am getting a stable line now but i'm stuck at 1.5mbps
Pretty weird though

Pls note sometimes ur splitter got fakap or ur line got corrosion issue on the connector this also will reduce sync from dslam

Try direct connect and new cables and if still fakap report to TM directly

I have two 4mb streamyx line, the connection speeds on both modem pages all dropped to 2 mbs connection. It stayed at 2 mb even after I rebooted both my modem.

Do any of you have this problem? It happened to be slow and unstable download for the past few days, but the 2mb thing happened on today. May be time to complain again.

I've decided not to upgrade to 4Mbps. I don't download all the time and 1Mbps seem to be able to accomplish all tasks just fine. On top of this, I've heard a myriad of stories about how a week/month later the connection would degrade and some would see the package speed drop. All is fine *touch wood* with my connection now and so, if it ain't broken don't fix it I guess.

@defaultname365
1mbps should be fine,and i don't think there is any network degrade for the 4mbps connection.
It's just that somebody stole my condo's wire lol.
Just had tmnet fixed it out

I recently upgraded from a 1MB line to 4MB, and the installer came to do his checks etc on 18-Aug. I've still not gotten the upgrade yet as of today. They claim 2-3 working days but it's been a month! I've called Technical > 10 times, and even after getting 3 reference/service numbers, I've yet to receive ANY feedback on status and upgrade is still NOT done sad.gif

Has anyone gotten similar experiences and have managed to get this sorted? How should I be going about doing this? Frustation has reached epic levels with TMs legendary customer service/support, including their assigned agents who aren't picking up calls.

My upgrade only took 2 days. You should call 100 and demand they send a technician over and if that doesn't work, go to tmpoint and screw them.

Look at mine. IMy noise margin is similar to you. Looks pretty good... Remember "look" only.

Mine is initially a 4 mbs line, and it dropped to 2 mbs yesterday. From the details the page provided should not have this problem. But who know what is going on there.

Hi Guys, having a bit of problem here, and hope to get your thoughts and advice. I've been trying to get an upgrade to 4 mb. Initially when I register, they mentioned that my area (Riana green, tropicana) has available ports for 4mb. Now they say don't have.

Just wondering if I should just insist on having the technician come over just to check and ensure it has or don't have? My SNR and attenuation is pretty good though as it is. Hopefully got hope to get the 4mb package.

@wilsonjack228
Hi there bro i saw your post up there talking about the 4mbps upgrade.
It seems that your SNR margin is quite bad,since it's only at 512kbps,not sure if you will get a stable line if you upgrade to 4mbps

@bbs3322
It got dropped because it's trying to get a better SNR margin,like mine,it dropped from 5120 to 48xx to ensure arnd 20SNR margin or so.Now the connection is quite stable though they fixed my cable

@perror
Not sure about that,try call 100 and confirm the 4mbps port.
Usually it's like that one,if it doesn't have 4mbps port probably it's taken by other people.
Anyhow the unifi is going over malaysia wad...4mbps...i'd rather go for 5mbps biz UNIFI

well, if the availability for UNIFI is there for ur place, better go for that one rather upgrading ur package to 4mb, i think the port they told u before has already been taken by someone else, but u can also ask the tech to come and see what they can do to upgrade the line for u smile.gif

Thanks for the inputs guys. If they can't find a port, I'll probably try unifi. I'm a heavy downloaded so the currently unimplemented cap on unifi is a bit of a concern (potentially unfounded). I'd go for biz5 but it's RM50 on top of vip5 sad.gif
