Which part of JB are you staying in currently?  I have a friend also thought of migrating to JB.  Other than Larkin area, I do not really know which area to recommend to him.

wanna ask..if drive to johor.. which parking area is recommeded?
Last few times park at Caltex petrol station near Kastam, RM10/entry.

Also try Citi Square, charged RM2/ hrs..

What choices is want to park for 3-4 days? safe and sound area.

Perling, Sutera, Bukit Indah area i heard not bad. but because i heard ppl say that Taman Sentosa and Taman Ungku Aminah is where all the lala and gangster boss lives. so i tent to avoid those area. Bukit Indah is just next to Taman Ungku Aminah.

Taman Pelangi is kindda not safe.. we usually walk in group. so we didn't encounter any problems.

But there many police patrol by bike /road block at midnight around that area...Got alot of "ragut case"...

Usually lepak at E & Y mamak.

You should change from "smart" to "modern day salvery". But i doubt singaporean employers will change their stance of this, its easy for them to exploit foreign workers for cheap labour since it would mean they would have to face a cut into their revenue which is unacceptable as is kaisu tradition.

I also found out that you can bribe your way during a commercial vehicle inspection for around 100 dollars. I know a sub-con whose vehicle i had the "pleasure" to ride in and they guy told me that the engines busted, the steering is whacked and the radiator needs topping up every few days and he told me that his company made a "special" request to their mechanic to help them pass through the annual vehicle inspection. He even saw the vehicle report which initially stated that the vehicle inpection failed, after his boss called his mechanic to sort it out, the vehicle passed so in that one day, that vehicle could have failed and then passed the inspection.

there is a saying always i hear "still stagnant in the era of policemen wearing short pant".

u have given an example as above. sometime ago minor people in opposed opinions as what i was trying to mention at here. thx! rclxms.gif
there are lot of loophole creatively keeps happening but settle quietly.
