i just got my PR....

No, it was not so smooth as I think. I started to work after my final exam in April 2009. I was too excited to apply for PR then as I heard from many said that Msian can obtain PR easily, even with less than 6 months of working experiences (that was b4 Spore population hit 5 millions in August 2009). For those applied after June 2009, I hardly heard good news.

1st Time
29 Aug 2009 => Got rejected on 27 Nov 2009 heart-broken

2nd Time
19 Jun 2010 => Got rejected on 5 Dec 2010 heart-broken again, very sad
Appealed on Jan 2011 => ....................


Received approval letter just now, finally

I appealed for my second time PR application.

Appeal: Online booking for an appointment, submit appeal letter together with supporting documents (salary increment letter...).
Re-apply: Online booking for an appointment, submit all documents, just like the first application.

i appealed after getting my bonuses and salary increment.

im not sure, it could be due to im still new (< 2 years working experiences), perhaps my low salary , i moved to another place in June 2010 (residential)...neway, just my guesses, i could be wrong.

Added on April 19, 2011, 11:43 pmmost of the time, it's stated clearly in the letter. mine was stated in the last paragraph in the rejection letter "u may wish to re-apply in 2 years time"...after 1.5 years, i got it
