Nope, if what arj means is what I;m guessing is correct, it's those oil tubings which are bluish in colour

Distilled water is still the best. Coolant additives actually reduce performance. Same goes to premixed coolant solutions like PC ice etc etc.
Coolant additives are not really necessary unless you have mixed metals in your loop (aluminium + copper), or you are running into algae growth issues.

Hey the reason to use coolant is to prevent corrosion not to look cool. Thats what I know its for.

i dont think that you can use the DIY Glade res for this project. You need some thing big to absorb the heat out of the water and transfer that to the peltier.i really dunno how to explain in detail, but this LINK should be very helpful for you.

good luck and dont forget to post here and keep us inform with hte progress thumbup.gif

Im using that tubings, its a very good tubing for the price but it will get yellowish colour after sometime. Not recommended for use with a coolant since it would make the tubings dirty and would effect the flow.

Im using that res too and its a bit hard to do anything to it. I do think of cooling the reservoir by adding a secondary reservoir but it would take a lot of space to do. Maybe when im done i'll post the picture and improvement i get from it.

Why not use Battery Water ? Rm2 at Mesra, Petronas. Cheap and easy to get yet proven. Since you used a distilled water, how it fares with a battery water (If u have used it in the past) ?

p/s: Anybody know where to get Cyber Aqua 4700 pump in kl area ?

some of battery water contained manganese. donno if this is chemical or not. And i oso noticed that, w/ battery water contained manganese, the "kecairan" [sorry, forgot already what they wrote there ] is 1 n without manganese, it's 2. The brand i'm using is KOYA, made in JB. They didnt list the manganese as its mixes.
