ianho, how thick acrylic is that? and what did u use to cut it (particularly the centre part)? milling machine? dremel with grinder?

5mm acrylic. Drilled pilot hole then jigsaw the hole. After that I grind it nicely with dremel.

PVC glue is plumber's glue. The normal pvc pipe glue from hardware store. I use that too.

hey guys....hope u can help me out with my ultra noob question here regarding the 3 barbs CPU waterblock....been wondering about this for quite awhile....

1/ usually, how do people setup the input and output?? 1 input 2 output or the other way round??

2/ which one will be the input?? centre barb or outer barbs?

3/ comparing 2 barbs with 3 barbs waterblocks... which is better/preferred and why?

wah...mADmAN, sudah mahu masuk air ka??? brows.gif

i can answer the first 2 questions.

1) it will be 1 input and 2 output. the reason....to get better flow rate.

2) the center barb will be the input directly above the heat source. so the cold water pours in onto the hot copper at the center, then split into 2 and exits the block.

no.3 will be answered by people who have more knowledge. i'm still new myself blush.gif

which ace hardware?
i've checked out the midvalley one b4. metal ones, they only got brass barbs, non-nickel-plated, and they don't have those with a wider base to allow an O-ring seal.
