Employment Level : not sure i'm considered fresh/entry level or junior executive now.

salary : RM 2900+, no extra allowance or OT claims

Years spent in company : Newly joined, now entering 3rd month.
Company : Japanese
Industry : Manufacturing
Experience before joining : 3 years
Salary : RM 2500 + RM100 allowance = RM2600
Benefits : EPF, Socso, medical claim limit RM1,500/ year, mileage claim RM0.30/ km, no AL as under probation, no OT, outstation allowance RM20.

is this good? this is a small company with around 15+ people but high turnover and production haven't run yet even after the company set up a year ago sweat.gif

travelling distance around 50km/ day from my house to factory. with total toll rm5.60/ day.

He doesnt need to do that.

Fact is 4k after 7 years is really underpaid. Mgnt trainees, fresh grads are getting 2.8-3.2 already. They would probably reach 4k after 1 year of working exp.

Am I underpaid? Got an offer from a local bank for a 20% adjustment. Job scope slightly different, more on Asset/Liability management.

2 years of experience, cannot expect much. BTW not bad that you still can claim OT & have lot of AL.

Just jump when you get a better offer, no point work for peanut.

looking for a job in rf/3g/transmission field.
What should be an appropriate starting salary??

One more thing, anyone has experience with recruitment firm??

10-15K ohmy.gif Really? Are you referring to engineering industry?
Maybe for O&G it might be true, and for a few really outstanding ones.
But I don't think the average engineers with 7 years experience can hit more than 10K.
The data I got is around 7-8K range.

Fresh graduates are getting 5k - 6k for Oil and gas positions. But these positions are based on you being in OIL RIGS or may danger your life (be it short term or in the long run).

7 years to hit more than 10k is fairly simple if you are in those lines. For example, a welding engineer gets paid roughly USD50 - USD300 PER HOUR (depending on level of expertise)
