I actually bought one online at Lazada to try it out, received it on mid of Jan, and boy, it sure will last me a long time. Three months in, I only used like what, 25% ? lol

I would suggest you to buy one, try it out if you like it, then decide if you want more

Yup, most of them sell in bulk. But there is one seller in shave2u selling it loose, price is not as good as bulk purchase. Anyway, asked for some personal advise from fellow forumers. Decided to get soap from connaught. Waiting for it to arrive, and will try that first. Thanks man.

Hi all, any one ordered from Connaught shaving using normal postage (non trackable one)? Been more than 2 weeks since it got despatched and not yet arrive, is it normal?

Ordered from them twice before using normal post. Both got to me in a bit more than a week.

Relax. I have purchased from the UK many times from indiviual sellers and online retailers incl. Connaught.
Never once has an untracked Royal Mail Intl. Std. parcel gone missing.

Sometimes it arrives in 9-10 elapsed days. Sometimes 16-19 elapsed days.
The longest I had to wait was 27 elapsed days from the date of shipment.

Mine got taken out from luggage at the airport few years back..since then i use al those shicks/cheapo Gillette..now thinking going back to wet shaving.

Do you use stand to hold yours Wet Shaving sets? And keep its outside of toilet?

Connaught recently decided that all packages to Malaysia must be Tracked & Signed which practically doubles postage.
Sigh. One or two bad apples spoils the whole bunch.




I don't use any kind of stand for my razors. Too many. And, they are not kept in the bathroom.

Performance is pretty good. Lathers easily and has good slickness. Overall, better than the much cheaper shaving creams from India that we can purchase locally.
The scent is quite peculiar (for me anyways). Give it a sniff at a TBS outlet if scent is important to you.

Anyone use normal Gillete Foam(in a can) that can easily found at Watson, Guardian, Carings for wet shaving?

Still have one can, but since I started Wet Shaving a few weeks ago, and purchase some Old Spices from Haniffa, rasa sayanglah pulak wanna throw the can.

Not dare to use with DE razor, but if anyone suggest its, I might do a try.

Yup. I own a T&H Wellington DE Razor. It’s a nice Merkur rebrand. Overpriced for what you are getting (pot metal head, not stainless steel) but it does its job well. If you want the exact same model without the Trufitt and Hill branding, try buying Merkur DE razors. They are a German manufacturer.

If you like the T&H handle but don’t feel like paying water fish prices, buy an Aesop DE razor for half the price. The handle on it is the same as the T&H razor. Both handmade in England. The Aesop razor feature a Muhler head but performance wise, it’s the same as they are both pot metal heads.

Do all sifus here use more than 1 type of DE razor(Aggresive, MIld and Medium) per session?

I tried to use Aggressive on 1 pass, then on 2nd and 3rd Pass by using Medium.
