Just for thought,

Do all sifus here use more than 1 type of DE razor(Aggresive, MIld and Medium) per session?

I tried to use Aggressive on 1 pass, then on 2nd and 3rd Pass by using Medium.

Feel great about its.

Did try that when I got my adjustable. In the end I settled for leaving it on the mildest setting. Multiple passes gives me a shave that's more than good enough with zero skin irritation.

When I want it really smooth I use my shavette.

I just use feather razor blades for the sharpest cut. Just need 2-3 passes for a smooth hair free face.

I use T&H Sandalwood shaving cream as it smells so nice and lubricates very well.

hi im new here
wanted to ask is there any tips shaving without irritating our skin and itchiness after shaving with safety razor?

because of this i had to use cartridge razor like schick quattro where it didn't gave any irritation and itchiness to my skin but the price to buy another cartridge far too expensive compare with single blades razor

btw im using gillette shave gel
shave with grain and against the grain

I'm also new into this Wet shaving.

To minimize skin burn, you can use shaving soap or cream, shave WTG, XTG and finally ATG.

Much easier, of like me, I only do WTG -> XTG, only 2 pass each.

You'll also find a benefit to your wallet if you change to a double edge shaver. I would buy the razor online, I bought one of these with a stand, quality is excellent and cut is adjustable.

Double edge means both sides of the razor can be used right?
Cut adjustable means can choose how close the shave can be?

Never bought anything from ali express. The blades where do u buy it? Brush? Bowl? Soap/cream?

Yes double edge are the standard blades user posted image.

Last time I bought a sample pack from a guy advertising on Mudah, several different brands, that was about 2 years ago, I'm still working through them. I can give you his contact, if you're interested.

Yes the adjustment is for the closeness of the shave, twist the stem.

I don't usually bother with shaving soap, I just use Tesco brand shaving foam. I bought a brush in body shop a long time ago, probably not the best, but it's OK, they may have shaving soap as well.

If you're new to using a DE razor, you may end to nick your skin at first, I did. I recommend you get an aluminium salt stick to quickly stop the bleeding, I find 'Smelly No More' works well, you can buy in a pharmacy or online.

I second all kk131 has said. But if you insist on buying in a shop, you can try Mydin. They will usually have the cheap Indian razors and blades. Brand is Laser. That's what I started with. Used it until it broke (I dropped it).

This is what it looks like:

Keep in mind that the blades and the razor itself make a big difference to the shaving experience. Try first with the readily available equipment, then consider upgrading if it goes OK.

Don't worry, once you catch the bug you'll be itching to buy a better razor and blades in no time.
