Looking at the promo above makes me wonder how are the tiles i've seen in Super Ceramic where they were selling:

1' x 1' for about RM2.30/pc and 10" x 13" for about the same price....as compared to those RM10 and above for 600mm x 600mm..anyone care to explain?
*
GodsLove, it's really hard to comment on the pricing, as there are just too many quality/type/halfbody/grade etc tiles. a 2x2 could be as cheap as rm 7++ to rm80pcs for 2x2.

Bigger pieces are more costly. Even installation is also more expensive for 2x2. E.g. my contractor quote me RM 4.8 /sqft for all material except tiles to install a 2x2. and RM 1 less for smaller tiles. This is already consider cheap because its part of the renovation bundle. And the sifu is a very experience Chinese uncle.

But I think Feruni is difference, you can ask them cut into smaller tiles and that will need make the smaller tiles more expensive.

Guocera, even other brand like niro can have cheap tiles. Niro showroom told me some tiles are cheaper because of few reason

01) Grade A vs Grade B
02) Color fade, so downgrade to Grade B
03) Over production
04) Left over from project
05) Common
06) Outdated
07) Reject.

Most of the shop i go will inform me if its Grade 1 or 2 (A/B).

I don't know about other I survey a number of tiles shop. Last I went to Super Ceramic @ 222 to purchase most of my tiles except kitchen floor tiles. So far find the service is reasonable. Price is also reasonable.

Even if you have the tile code, you may not be able to get the exact tile. Reason is that the tile used by the developer might not in production anymore. Another problem is that there could be some colour variation if you managed to get them. So, just be prepared for this. Then you should be OK.

those are just labour for the tiling work only. The installation of WC and basin will be done by the plumber, which is charged differently

What is the extend of your work? hacking & remove existing wall & floor tiles? Who supply the tiles?
It this a landed property or apartment? There could be additional cost to remove the debris for apartments as compared to landed property.
What's the plumbing work involve? Replace all the existing piping? Any new copper piping for hot water? Or just replacing the sanitary fittings only?

What you can do is to work out the wall and floor tiling areas. Then used the rates provided earlier by another LYN member. This would give you an rough indication.

Better to have BRC if you are making a new car porch floor. No point trying to save on this.
Not dispose rubbish. Does it mean that you will provide the tong sampah for the contractor?
