QUOTE(magnifizio @ Aug 3 2011, 01:21 PM) Dear all, for 'wet' area like kitchen n bathroom, choose something matt/anti slip / rough surface.I am looking to re-tile my newly bought condo in PJ. 2 bathroom and kitchen area. If i am looking for tiles that are easy to maintain, what qualities of specification of tiles should i look for? I really have no idea about tiles. Thank you in advance. there are many many tiles out there. surface should be ur priority |

QUOTE(magnifizio @ Aug 3 2011, 02:10 PM) hi kucingfight many many brands like Niro, MML, Whitehorse, Venus, Guocerra, Cotto , Feruni etcthanks for your advice. mind to point me to some good examples? in particular brand or showroom? or a website? what would be the price range for such tiles? and many china/vietnam tiles , which u should try to avoid for 2x2, price ranges from rm 16 above for those branded tiles, where reportedly Niro is a step above than the others, and off coursethe price more exp too china/vietnam tiles as low as rm9 above etc u have 1x1,1x2, etc size.. QUOTE(benjaminteg @ Sep 28 2011, 12:34 AM) Hi, if i'm not mistaken, here's the 'market' priceI need advise here. Due to my existing floor tiles "pop" out, now i need to redo my living room tiles, around 500ft. Contractor quote me RM8,000. This cover dismantle all existing 2.5x 2.5 tiles, labour, all material, rubbish clearance and lay new 2x2 white horse tiles. Is all this consider reasonable? Or anyone of you have a nice workmanship Chinese sifu with reasonable price to recommend. Very appreciate it coz it quite urgent due to existing tiles "pop" out. Thanks. break/clear old tiles =rm2/sq ft , 500x2 = rm1000 lay 2x2 tiles = rm6-7/ sq ft = 500 x 7= rm3500 2x2 tile = rm20 , rm20 x 125pcs = rm2500 Total ~ 7k. jus a rough calculation, +/-, n off course depending on skill level. QUOTE(GodsLove @ Oct 24 2011, 09:04 AM) Looking at the promo above makes me wonder how are the tiles i've seen in Super Ceramic where they were selling: GodsLove, it's really hard to comment on the pricing, as there are just too many quality/type/halfbody/grade etc tiles. a 2x2 could be as cheap as rm 7++ to rm80pcs for 2x2.1' x 1' for about RM2.30/pc and 10" x 13" for about the same price....as compared to those RM10 and above for 600mm x 600mm..anyone care to explain? |
