may i know whether the rm200 installation fee waived by TM includes any extension and drilling for wiring for landed properties?
I am worried there's xtra charges for those things on top of the rm200 waived.

They will still charge you if extra cables are required.

wat does xtra here mean?
do they have standard length tats considered free?
if any case, if xtra length is indeed required, how much is the rate we are talking about here, per meter?
and we sort of need to pay no matter wat right, since they r the only one doing it...?

Yes, can. The output from the BTU is just an ordinary phone line. You can plug in wall socket, split with splitter etc. just as usual. Any analog phone will work.

I've connected from BTU to wall socket... managed to get all my phone ring at the same time... also can answer incoming calls...

however i cant make phone calls... everytime i make a phone call to whatever number... it says 'nombor yang anda dial tiada dalam perkhidmatan' help??!!

One way is from your phone.

Unifi has CLIP, so your phone can track calls the way just like handphone.

Hey guys, wondering if any can help me with this confusion. I'm using wifi on my desktop to connect to unifi (TP link TL-WN951N ) , while the router is the DLink that came in the package. Thing is, i am frequently getting disconnects like 5-10 times or more an hour ( Excellent Wifi signal ). Um not sure how to explain, i meant when im connected, there's this icon on the lower right taskbar with the monitors and a earth icon, that earth thing disappears very constantly. When i call up Unifi customer service, they can't even tell me what's wrong, but tells me that i have never been disconnected after checking.

Anyone with similiar problems? Or anyone can tell me how to solve this? My desktop is like just less than 5m away from the router, having excellent wifi signal, same floor. The unifi tech suggested me to try change wifi channels, i did, but all the same. Very confused on which is the main source of problem here, my setting, my wifi adapter, the Dlink router or the unifi connection? rclxub.gif

Replies very much appreciated, thank you in advance =)

Try change the wifi channel in the dlink to "auto".

Some other possibilities:
- There is compatibility issue between the adapter and the access point (router)
- Either the wifi adapter or the Dlink router is defective
- There is something around you that interfere the signal. Possibly Hifi speaker, microwave, ...
- Somebody nearby is trying to hack into your wifi. Frequent disconnection is one of the symptom when somebody trying to guess your wifi password using the brute force method. If you are using WEP, within a short period, the password will be obtained by the hacker (and the frequest disconnection will possibly gone, but you can possibly see stranger connected to your wifi network). If you are using WPA or WPA2, the guessing period is longer.

The only thing i i can tell you is that just negotiate the price before installing and keep like maybe rm500 on hand. Most probably need to pay for something IMHO. smile.gif
