Damn,I live in Tmn Sri Sentosa,Jln Klang Lama. Some of apts are already coved for one month, but my apt is not yet in the coverage. So I email to Unifi service center and they say they are lacking of Fibre Drop Cabinet and will do it as fast as they can.I called Unifi center several times before, initially they said I could get the service by Feb,then told me by 1 March, this time through email, they told me they have no estimation. The Fibre Drop box has been in my apt for months, but I can't get the service till now, somemore I don't know how long I should wait for.Terrible....

The problem is the apt just right across the road get the service already...And they have informed the date of availability, but then always change it.

Sometime ago, this thread have 1 network specialist (way before i even think of registering unifi)..

He posted this https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=33261734

in which i think a really good explanation for those who are concern with their speedtest.net results after using unifi...

Called up and spoke to a Unifi Technician. He said that my connection to the internet goes thru a gateway or something like that (forgot the word is doh.gif ) in Kelana Jaya and that there's problems with it since a few weeks back.

if due to their own fault, most probably yes. but you need to know what is your SLA first. as a home user the SLA is pretty much lower compare to corporate, also depends on service u are using.

but if it's caused by natural disaster, then NO.

Can add me in 10MBPS user list?
I'm happy with my speed. Full download speed, no DC or lag.
Only facebook.com has problem. :S

During the installation, they had given their best and were friendly, also systematic. End up I gave them a meal after the job done. biggrin.gif

Dayum! 1080p youtube streams like water.
Downloaded 700MB file around 10 mins.

I had DIR-615 router with firmware 7.09, so far so good.
Iphone, iMac, were doing great.
Router did not gone overheat too.
