No point using the VPN,VPN users are having the same problem too..you can read BolehVPN blog for more info and hear they scream with the same sound..but here in LYn is a bit louder.

For me the IP address makes no difference. Whether 175.xx or 115.xx it is still capped

no technician come... call technician no answer....
all TM CS and Technical ppl talk in bullshxt ....

Maybe the bandwidth shaping is done at a very high level. Technicians may not even be aware of them. Technicians are based on your local area, while these bandwidth control doesn't happen at that level, they have to do it at the backbone or whatever where all of Malaysia's traffic pass through.

you file a complain about your line slow, customer support send a ticket to the technician and so its their job to fix your problem. They may not even know what Tmnet is doing at the country's backbone level.

means call to 100 is useless ?

My problem was when it's 2pm to 2am, my 1mbps line only gives me 0.3 to 0.6mbps, where before this problem started it's 1.5mbps constantly. Call up TM yesterday, and they said the technician will come today. But he didn't.

Even though I doubt the technician can do anything for us, its good to file a complain. If their call center gets a lot of call from users everywhere about the issue, maybe Tmnet will realize we won't just sit back and accept their throttling. At least we have to show them that we know what they are doing.

u go past the magic limit...throttle...then when your new cycle begins...ok again...

download...download...over limit...throttle...rinse and repeat...

i think i heard before best effort basis is 70% of package speed, and yet we get 20% of our package speed from local server. is this some form of breach of contract? can we sue tm? or atleast make it into newspaper or tv or something?

throttled on bt is long done, now throttled and any kind of internet connection, malaysia server included?? bolehland boleh!

when can those scum just grow up from damn protection and face competition just like the rest o the world?? when is the next GE ?? ...
