you should press > 100 > 2 (english) > # > operator will talk with you. normally i wait about 2 mins....

but the answer is very very general ... dont expert they will give you professional technical answer....

thats why from 8.30pm i give up using the internet. I also work from 9 to 6. i come home the net slow like kura kura damn frustrated. My report already 3months d. But still the same thing.

If you all having the slow speed, i encourage all of us here do a test.

This test requires 1 direct modem and print screen. Please use TM speedometer. (because they deny speedtest.net)

Morning b4 go work, do a speed test and print screen.
At 8.30pm or 9.30pm do a speed test  and print screen.
If you havent sleep @ 2.00am, do a speed test again.

Do this for a week.

tm speedometer is bullshit la... it's like testing ur speed on local server

tell you the skill....

note down the TM CS operator name, and she/he superior name. ask for the Techinician name as well also the HP number. and complain direct to the Superior.

Last week thursday, i call them every half hour as call 100 is free. So 1 day i call up to 5 times keep asking the problem when to solve.

now i getting 3 technicain number, name. TM CS name, superior name and JB services Center number, superior number.
then if today no solve, i will make complian again. since im free at night time.... just keep call them chat with them.... and scold them...

and ask for rebate....

Same. Megaupload max 20kb/sec . Well even before cap, i can only manage to get max 57kb/sec.... owh hec.....
Problem started like 2-3 weeks ago.Only noticed it today. I tot its the Megauplaod fault. BUt i saw something strange. WHen i change ip/ reconnect modem, I can get full speed for like a minute, then it will gradually slow down to 20kb/s as if my internet speed is getting leeched. Then saw this thread... and the truth is painful    T0T

just wondering, for affected users only, what is your ip range?

a few months back my ip was 60.xx/118.xx and I encountered similar problem; slowdown between 8pm to 2am the next day...so after numerous complaint made, I managed to get new ip set which is so far brought no problem since then

The techician just came to my house for testing. The found is the Port problem. They going to the panel to modify. so i was follow them to the panel.

The just plug out and plug in to new connecter only.

and come back to my house, restart my modem.

i wont know it can be last how long, because i was a heavy downloader.

anything JB town area ppl face the same problem. can contact me. i able share the technician number to you.

for those who face the same problem with me, please make complain to TM CS, and make hourly call to them. and request the technicain to your house to check.

That is temporary solution i think.

called back to technician.... no result..... wait them to solve the port... i think is capped by tmnet... but the port problem... tonight will call back to TM CS again....  

yes, i download from Gov side also no problem show.... but when i connect to my Oversea server, totally lag like hell....
So update my status again,

Call to 100 > 2 (english) > 1 (technical problem) > #

Operator answer me > giving report number > direct transfer to cretical department > submit report again to technician > wait technician reply

This is the stupid job perform by the Tel-Operator

will call back 30mins after...

will keep update here...

i using JDownloader, that also get same slow too for download Itunes 10.1.2

but if normal download... i can get 120kbps.... i dont know why....

It seems to be capped international routing..
Try reconnect and get different range of IP and do test again.

Not surprising I think
There is nothing the technicians can do.

Bandwidth shaping happens at a way higher level than local ports or anything near us.

Maybe someone who have good English should write a letter to The Star or NST, and hopefully its publish?
This will get the attention of the public, and maybe finally Tmnet will response.

If your company is local, it might be affected too.
VPN does encrypt your data, it should be works..
My line is working fine just acting up for sometimes.
