just now TM critical department call me.... regarding the slow connection. ask me keep on the modem and they need do test... will call me back before 10.30pm.

but i found in same IP address... but the speedtest was different....

Speedtest.net only 0.3x only....
but ...
use speedtest.streamyx.com.my
i can get over 1.5Mb....

why ???

wow, i thought i'm the only one who has this problem. fyi, the speed is fine during office hour and after midnight. other than that, sucks. this has been going on for months now, last time it is still ok, now....3 out of 10 website that i browse will get a timeout. a 1MB line and we get a timeout? haha.........

few weeks ago got this problem, call them for help they talk crap, then email to skmm and tm, take them one week to reply me

after open a report, next day a technician come and check the line and still did not solve my problem, then tm call me say is the connection ok and can close report, then i scold them, after a day or 2 problem solved

should reduce the price lah if capping existing users already....why must pay for high price if get 512 speed...

Wah all you 1mbps users so lucky. I rarely get full speed in my area. Its only like 0.8-0.9mbps. But dont care about that, im damn pissed that tmnet still can throttle all types of file dlds now

cannot compare ping vs throttle..
ping is just latency, i believe nothing to do with throttle...

ok, I have to say

this happen recently,

hotfile or fileserve or whatever, speed around 30-60kb/s
EVEN if I download 2 files from hotfile and fileserve at the sametime, the speed will be split into 30kb/s+ and 30kb/s (share the total 60kb/s possible speed)
midnight only max 160kb/s for 1mbps user,

I went to test on speedtest.net, see what I get?
Latencies are normal of coz, but...

EXCEPT all local speedtest servers (Malaysia)
other all oversea server I test, SG.TH.AU.NZ.JP
and even Brunei the closest foreign country that just 40-50kilometres away from my house(maybe route to Kuching or Sabah or to West malaysia), I got the very similiar results, 300-450kbps

never goes over that

I will not attach so many results, only some important areas
















These evidences are strong enough to proof that there's foreign traffic slower issue for Streamyx users , or maybe TM is really doing something behind, since they did say they do not guarantee us oversea speed.

the technician just came to check my speed and belif it or not my latency is 1.2kms++? she's like shock and ain't belif me. till she test few round then got the same result also but speed is 3mb++ kinda WEIRD i would say.

But idiot of them dunno how they fix my line now phone line dead tone. But shud be thankful i still can surf online? sigh such technician.
