Please rephrase, should be RM0.021 not 0.021cents..

And the RM0.021 price for 10gb is already deducted the rebate, so RM215.04 is wad u pay for 10GB... price already rebate...

This package looks like more target on phone data usage than those download usage. Looks like they want to join in for the phone network service. Min 30 top up to maintain the service, quite similar to those other network provider. Only thing this Yes offer a better rate for those sometimes data usage.
I still wondering for home user what package they want to attract us sign up. At this moment, streamyx is my 1st choice. Even how bad it is, it still best among others isp.

So much for the promise of one simple plan.
9 sen/3Mb, then use xx amount get $$ rebate.
Use more get more rebate.
Why not just REALLY, REALLY charge everyone one true flat rate?

The devils in the details (or fine print).

On top of that monthly must use at least RM30.

It encourages to use more but at the same time use less also okay. I think the idea is not bad after all.

However I do have suspicion on:

1. If I don't retain usage of RM30 per month, what will happen?
2. In order to get this month rebate on next month, is that means the next month also need to retain usage of RM30 as well or it can be 0?
3. If this month rebate is RM50 and my next month usage is RM30, is that means I can have free credit of RM20 or it will be zeroed?
4. If there is credit in my account, let say RM10 and I decide not to use, is that means I will lose the RM10 and cannot cash it?

It's still pay as u go method, ehh should be pay as u use.

It's all in one plan, mobile internet, mobile boardband, mobile voice..

for those 3, they just need RM 30 to keep u active.

its a prepaid method...not postpaid

1. they will auto credit rm 30 on ur credit limit. Just to keep ur ID active
2. their min usage for every month is rm30
3. take a example, u got FREE rebate rm 50, and u left Rm30 Credit, if this current month, u nvr use their data, they will minus the rm 30 from ur rm 50 rebate, and they will bought forward ur rm 20 rebate to ur next month, and ur rm 30 credit to ur next month. They minus the Rebate first then ur Credit.
4. u will lose it, and ur next month account limit will become 0.

Not special.

Actually it's the same model like what Maxis/Digi/Celcom are doing.

Maxis plan is minimum RM30 also and you can use it for voice/sms/data as well.

http://www.maxis.com.my/personal/mobile/ra...p?iStruct=0:1:0

The only difference is the rate for voice/sms/data. YES is cheaper as compared to Maxis/Digi/Celcom.

However, I do want to point out one fine print, it mentions the voice and sms rates are 9 cents per min/sms however I believe it's only for on-net but not off-net. And note that majority mobile and fixed line numbers are OFF-NET to YES subscribers. Subject to the rate for off-net call, it's the real deal whether it's cheap or expensive for voice and sms.

For data, after all the rebates, it's quite comparable to other 3G operators.

We can split to two ranges of subscribers, Voice+Data User (like android/iPhone/BB) and Broadband Internet user

If you are a existing Maxis/Celcom/Digi Android/iPhone/BB subscribers, I don't see any advantage in subscribing to YES actually (not to mention the silly phone).

For Broadband user, the rate will be slightly cheaper as compared to Maxis/Digi/Celcom Wireless Broadband but more expensive as compared to P1.

So, you can see YES is here to challenge MAXIS/DIGI/CELCOM existing mobile voice + data operators.

We will see a red ocean war happening very soon ... hehe ...

Unless YES can come out with some phones that's not as silly as the YES BUZZ, sorry I won't consider.

Based on your calculation it looks interesting. Let's compare with Digi RM158 16GB Quota.

16GB x 0.021/1MB = RM336

Then Rebate RM9 for each 1GB, so

16GB * RM9/MB = RM144

So total payment for 16GB usage for Yes would be RM336 - RM144 = RM192

YES 16GB = RM192
Digi 16GB = RM158

If YES has 3-5 times the speed and consistent, then I would go for YES~

Note all rate are based on HeartMePlz. I do hope there are rebates and reduces in rate when we use more. And my calculation is based on RM0.021 after 4GB usage. Who knows later they have much lower rates when we reached another level. Then the whole 16GB calculation would be much lesser.

Can't wait to check it out tomorrow.

Thanks for your clarification.

Indeed i'm a little confused because i thought it's prepaid but it seems that they can auto-debit my account now.
If what you say is right, even if I don't use their service for 2 months, they are still charging me RM60.
Then it's not prepaid. It's postpaid !!!! Similar with Maxis Plan 30,50,80,120 etc.
