QUOTE(HeartMePlz @ Nov 19 2010, 12:26 AM) Basically, i can tell u that, they got one rate 9 sen, so u call to their YES user 9 cents, Other Opeartors 9 cents. Even u are using Yes ID, and u are overseas, u use that to call to malaysia operators, 9 cents as well.. just that u from msia, u call to overseas will be charged as IDD rate. and u are overseas, u use that to call to malaysia operators, 9 cents as well.Added on November 19, 2010, 12:29 am if i am not mistaken, they are 60 secs block charge sure or not? |

the 3GB for rm67.50 really fried the competitor by the nose and horns
now Maxis,Digi and Celcom will hav to repackage their offerings, only UM is spared |

QUOTE(robertlee @ Nov 19 2010, 09:20 PM) Frankly, since YES describe them is 4G, why still take 3G and 3.5G to compete? i am comparing rm67.50 to rm68.00, maxis rm68 for 3GB, celcom rm68 for speed of 384 kbps and Digi rm68 for EDGE speed I think they should go compare Izzi,Amax,P1 Wimax, Jaring Wimax .Airzed |

QUOTE(Forum-Modding Newb @ Nov 20 2010, 01:25 AM) Down for 7 hours and counting. I'm quite disappointed, no point thinking about this service anymore. If you can't do the little things, how can we trust you to deliver the important things? All the staff partying at Lot10 Rootz, nobody jaga the IT? For those of you who use Cisco equipment or work in network line before, you would know their hardware is a piece of crap. As for Samsung... how come Japan's Wimax provider switch from Samsung base station to NEC base station? http://mail.yes.my/ this seems to be working. http://world.yes.my/ this also seems to be working... that means I think only their portal back-end died. I saw some people who saw a message with the word OBRM, I googled OBRM... I think OBRM is Oracle Communications BRM (based on this post: http://www.ytlcomms.my/en/news_details.aspx?id=26). So the main page portal is sitting on a Oracle back-end? I pity their IT people, some manager chose Oracle and they pay the price trying to do things on a really rubbish platform (the marketing is top class though, just like Cisco marketing with their rubbish network hardware). I'm quite disappointed, no point thinking about this service anymore. If you can't do the little things, how can we trust you to deliver the important things? WELL SAID you seems to know a lot abt networking, better than most YES technicals too thanks for the insight |
